OK NPC Bodybuilding

No, I’m not entering for this one…. yet (anyhow). NPC Battle of the Bodies is may 3rd in Tulsa and June 14 is the date for NPC OK and Central Classic.
http://www.npcoklahoma.org/ is the site to check out for more info for those interested….
Well, since March I’ve visited the orthopedic dr. which said (from X-rays and MRI) that the cartiledge in my knees are deteriorating. Not able to run right now. No more leg extensions ever. Physical therapist wants me to take it easy. This is somewhat frustrating. I’ve let it affect me negatively- not been giving 100% on my workouts and eating. Gained a couple pounds and saw some of the back fat come back- a big NO NO. I am disappointed in myself that I slipped and it took me this long to realize it. Help me out here please somebody! Got to get over this and RISE ABOVE IT!

Really impressed with the transformation you’ve made so far. A knee injury must be frustrating. If your doctor said you couldn’t do any exercises (like swimming) I’d get a second opinion. Other wise I’d just continue doing your best. It looks like you’ve been able to over come adversity before

Thanks for the response! I’m determined to push past these ‘challenges.’ Adversity either makes one tougher or weaker. Kinda like- "is the glass half full or half empty."

Woo hoo! My knees don’t hurt me anymore! I’ve been going to a chiropracter and he’s been helping me with using correct form and learning how to run right! Now to strengthen my lower body and kick this into high gear!
