Got an eating plan ~ 1300 calories each day; trainer emails me the workouts ahead of time. I’m really enjoying the changes…
Already been a week and can tell progress! I now work (an additional job) front desk at a gym; and one of the guys I work with mentioned that I have slimmed down/lost in the stomach area. I feel better (except the fact that I need more sleep!).
I’m weighing in tomorrow am; looking forward to this week and the coming changes!!!!!!!!!

No, I’m not entering for this one…. yet (anyhow). NPC Battle of the Bodies is may 3rd in Tulsa and June 14 is the date for NPC OK and Central Classic.
http://www.npcoklahoma.org/ is the site to check out for more info for those interested….
Well, since March I’ve visited the orthopedic dr. which said (from X-rays and MRI) that the cartiledge in my knees are deteriorating. Not able to run right now. No more leg extensions ever. Physical therapist wants me to take it easy. This is somewhat frustrating. I’ve let it affect me negatively- not been giving 100% on my workouts and eating. Gained a couple pounds and saw some of the back fat come back- a big NO NO. I am disappointed in myself that I slipped and it took me this long to realize it. Help me out here please somebody! Got to get over this and RISE ABOVE IT!

Well, so much has happened the last couple months.
I am reviewing my workouts. I really need to drop fat, have been building muscle. My warm up set of bb curls is 40lbs at 16 reps. My second set is 50lb bb curls at 11 reps! I have made strength gains which is great! But I really need to drop fat.
Will be calling a gal who I briefly met at the airport. She’s a bodybuilder that lives in the surrounding area. She said that she’d take my body fat for me (hopefully this can happen this week).
I am hoping that I can get some advice from her as far as eating and work outs are concerned to help me get closer to my desired physique.
I have been going to physical therapy for my knees since March of this year. I’m working on strengthening and stretching my lower body to help the cartiledge in my knees.
Ok, my goal is to begin the 26th of March (Sat) and to finish July 20th. I will take measurements and scale weight on Friday of this week (as well as pictures).

so much has happened in the last 2 weeks. Went to the dr and was diagnosed w/hypothyroid- so i’ve been researching it….
Needing some encouragement and support and direction in how to deal with this.
Don’t want to take the meds, but want to look for the natural way….
Anyone please help!

Woo hoo! I am finally going! I’m going to attend the Arnold Expo this year!!! So looking forward to everything there.
Changed up my workouts. Going heavier, doing 3 sets with waiting about a minute in between sets. Have been (more) sore than normal, but that’s great!
Not doing HIIT cardio, but keeping up my running (something that’s important to me).
I convinced myself to refuse to weigh myself on the scale… looking forward to the progress I’m going to make this time around.
Others at work have been inspired by my progress; others have asked me about exercise and eating habits- so glad some have jumped on the band wagon of fitness; eating healthier and lifting weights. Glad I’m making a difference and an impact.
Going to work on the visualization part; my mind needs to catch up with my body about becoming healthier!
Enjoy your weekend!
Health and blessings,
Sarah

Ok, I am doing this to help myself. The outside is changing physically, but I have to do something to help the inside change (how I see/view myself).
I started reading BFFM and I am going to incorporate this added dimension into my lifestyle. Here I go!
I am so thankful that I am a female bodybuilder.
I am losing 8% body fat and reaching my goal weight of 140 lbs and my goal body fat of 15% by July 1, 2008.
I am fitting into size 8 jeans by late March 08 and looking so good in them that when I wear them, I leave others in shock! ;p
I am a fitness mag success story!
I am learning enough about my body, diet, and exercise that I am easily staying within 2-3 lbs of my optimal body weight for the rest of my life!
I am celebrating the New Year of 2009 with clearly visible abs!
