I’m back!!!!!!!

Well it’s been just five weeks since I was given the okay from my Dr. to get back in the gym after recovering from my double hernia surgery and I’m happy to say I back to normal. Although I was released five weeks ago it wasn’t until last week that I could say I had completely forgotten about the surgery and was able to truly push myself.

It feels great to be back in the gym challenging myself and taking my physique to the next level. This year my trainer and I are putting the majority of our focus into bringing up my hamstrings and inner chest. Although I obviously need to grow everywhere these are the bodyparts that have somehow fallen behind everything else. I haven’t received my new training schedule yet as we were waiting on me to get comfortable in the gym again but when I do I will be sure to post the changes that we have made to bring up these lagging bodyparts.

My weight was back at 300 lbs today which is a good sign after weighing only 268 lbs when I started back in the gym. I know that some people are probably thinking that 268 lbs is still very big but the problem was more than just weight, the problem was composition. I weighed almost 270 lbs but my shoulders were so narrow and my limbs had completely shrunk. Now after just five weeks I am back to my usual self and am ready to take my physique to a whole new level.

A double hernia sounds painful! Glad you’re back at it. I’ll be in a similar situation in a week when i get my hip joint cleaned up and the femur ground a bit - dam labrum tears. I’m at 252lbs with doing no leg work for 7 months. Don’t know what 300lbs feels or looks like but you’re an inspiration for all of us no matter our age. I can’t wait to train legs again!!!!
