Last year was the year when I said enough is enough. I killed it and dropped 40 lbs of bodyfat. I’m at the point where I want to advance the same way from where I am now. I know I have to keep the intake lean and hit the weights hard. I’m all about it though!!! By August first, I’ll have 10 more lbs of muscle and be at 15% bodyfat. This will be the biggest I’ve ever been, muscular wise. I can’t wait!

I let myself go. With everything going on the past 5 months (before the New Year), I’ve fallen a bit behind on staying on top of things. I started slacking a bit with my diet and training. I just felt a bit burnt out. That was then and this is now. I’m over that and ready to blow past what I did in 2008 and tear it up in 2009! I’m hitting the weights consistently again and bringing my diet back in alignment with my goals. It’ll be only a matter of time before I start obtaining new personal records. I’m pumped!

I’ve grown tired of the routine I’ve used for the past 6 months. I know it’s been working extremely well. As a matter of fact, I couldn’t ask for better results. However, I need a change. This is where the Arm Workout comes into play. Last months issue of Men’s Fitness published a workout routine that sparked my interest. It is a full body workout with a focus on arms. I’ll use this routine in the gym for the next 4 weeks starting today. The first workout went very well! I can’t wait to do the others and see what the results are at the end of the 4 weeks!

I took the following stats last night (Sunday). I was surprised with some of the results. Others not so much. I expected to lose some muscle since I was battling a nasty cold for about a week or so. I’ve finally hit my orignal bodyfat goal, but now I want to lose even more! I want to see what it’s like to be 12%. Time to tighten things up even more! My short term goal is now to be at 14% bodyfat with a mid-term goal of 12% bodyfat and 175 lbs of muscle.

This will be the first of many updates to keep track of my body composition using my Tanita scale. This evening stats were taken at 11:20 pm. My short term goal is to be under 15% bodyfat with a mid-term goal of 175 lbs of muscle.

I’m feel like almost ready to start working out again. I just wish my body could catch up. My leg is almost healed, but my shoulder doesn’t seem like it wants to cooperate. These cannot heal quick enough! In the mean time I’m going to focus on getting more rest and eating healthier.
