It’s On, but not Poppin’

Okay, so it’s been 6 weeks and I’m 8 weeks out from the Naturalmania.  Boy I tell ya . . . when I said I had ALOT of work to do, I was NOT joking.  At this point, my weight has gone up to 135lbs and that’s very disappointing.  I upped the amount of cardio time to 45 minutes 5xweek so I’d like to see what kind of progress I’ll make now.  I’ve said goodbye to whole wheat (fill in the blank) and I’m down to 2 starches a day.  This is my third year of comepting and I had no idea how hard it would be this time around.  I did pretty decently my first 2 years competing, and this was when I only put in about 70% effort.  And now that I’m putting in 110%, go figure (no pun intended), my body decides to NOT make it easy.   Some sort of sick joke, I guess, lol.  Anyways, with these changes I’ll just have to wait and see.  I’m praying for improvements :-)   Toon in next time.

    your body is just testing your commitment: you just need to stay dedicated. Just worry about the process, not the end result..
