Changed Gyms

    So I moved to a different state for family reasons, and had to change gyms.  Just when I got comfortable, got to know good people, it all had to change.  Everybody keeps to themselves here and it seems that they are all mad at something.  Well, I guess I will just wipe down my bench and get some good quiet workouts done for now!!!

           I have been lifting for quite a few years now, and I feel this year is the first time I am actually doing it right.  With more knowledge and better nutrition I am not just moving the weight; it is almost a Zen like feeling.  I now feel in control of the cold iron as each rep is executed with control over each contraction.  I use less weight with better results, I am eating right and getting proper rest and have had no injuries.  You can’t argue with that.  The year 2007 has been my bodybuilding breakthrough!!!!

Triceps flattend out!!!

          I have been a little worried lately because for the last month I have not been able to get a good pump in my triceps.  They also have flattened out a little.  So today I moved things around in my routine; put my compound moves like dips and close grip bench-press first, and my isolation moves last.  Damn did they pump up!  I can’t wait till next weeks arm workout.

I deserve it!!!!

Hand tossed, stone baked, garlic infused extra virgin olive oil, light cheese, baked chicken breast, pepperoncini and roasted red peppers. It’s almost not even a cheat food. I had a good workout today and I am treating my self with something special.  Tomorrow down with the protein shakes!!!!

Another Day!

Today I came into an empty gym.  Different from the day prior where I talked my whole way through my workout time.  No music.  No people.  Just me, a lot of weight, loud heart beat and the clanking of pure iron.  I owned this workout today.   And tonight I will rest.

Talking in the GYM!!!

Well, I went in for my 4th day workout of the week.  I felt strong and determined to really see what I could accomplish and then it happened. An interesting subject popped up between some of the fellow lifters. Talk about this; tell a story about that, then pretty soon my time to workout was up.  Nothing was accomplished!!!
