Patting myself on the back…
Wednesday, October 22nd, 2008It’s been quite some time since I’ve been able to stay focused and keep my diet and exercise in check. My prime was in April 07 when I got down to 162. Although I cannot condition myself to that very point again due to injury, I am starting to believe my trainer that I will now end up in an even better condition because of my new focus to overall body strength. I want that core training. Right now, I REALLY need to stick with the fat loss first. It took a long time to get myself back into the mental stage of eating right and being able to say no to junk. And getting to the gym everyday such a routine i can do it in my sleep. I love the gym because I know I will walk out feeling accomplished.
Right now at 172 I am starting to see things melt again, and I remember the feelings I had when that happened to me consistently in ‘06. I plan to make a big breakthrough the rest of ‘08 by losing 30-35 more pounds….bringing me to 137-142 range at 5′2". At that point, my focus will be on shaping the muscle in my body and with that the rest of my excess fat shall disappear.
I still hope to compete in ‘09, but I cannot affford the tummy tuck. That will be the setback. …cuz I GOT this natural reform!!
