Being Sick Sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!

Being sick sucks!!!!! I can’t do anything! I want to go to the gym but when I start to move around my head spins and I get to my stomach. I haven’t been to the gym in a week. I am trying to do some of the workout videos we have here at home but once again I feel dizzy. Hopefully I will be able to get back into it next week if not before. But like I said before this sucks.

Seeing a Change

I stepped on the scale the other day and got upset. My weight changed but I gained 2lbs. I was hurt, but I knew the reason for that, my diet for the last week really sucked. But to day, I looked in the mirror after coming home from the gym and I liked what I saw. I LOOKED GOOD! My stomach seemed smaller; my chest was broader and my waist looked slim.  Seeing this, I went to the closet and got a pair of pants that were tight last month. I put them on and buttoned them with no problem. Man that was so cool! I mean when you see the results it makes you want to work harder and do better. Even if the scales doesn’t show it, for me, I’m glad the mirror does. 

A Weekend of Over Doing it

My wedding anniversity; my wife’s birthday and Labor Day all back to back; man, talking about blowing a diet. I have eatten everything that I am not suppose to eat but what can I say; I was celebrating. But I will be back to the gym in the morning doing a lot of cardio along with my weight routine.

My Hack is Crap

My workout was good today I was focused on the weights. I guess since I was mad at my wife it put me in a more determine mood to get stuff done or I was just releasing some stress. I think it was both. Anyway, I am having a problem with my hack squats and it has plagued me for years. Whenever I do them my knees are in a world of pain. I have tried changing the position of my feet on the platform an my knees still hurt. I have backed off of doing that execise for a minute but Whenever I do it I get good results except for the pain in my knees. Now when I do leg presses or lunges or regular squats my knees don’t hurt. So what is it that I am doing wrong. I guess I just have to stay with it and hope the pain fades. But other than that my workout was great. Maybe I need to get mad at the wife every gym day. I reach my goal in no time, lol.

Learning from my Mistakes

Today was a good gym day. My workout was great, cardio was good, it’s just that I was jettery the whole time at the gym. Now I know why; to much caffine in my system.I had a cup of coffee and a pre-workout supplement before I drop the baby off and when I got to the gym they both kicked in at the same time. Talking about being hype. I couldn’t stand still and my stomach was doing flips. Now I know, COFFEE & SUPPLEMENT TOGETHER ARE A NO NO!

The Beginning

This is the beginning of what I hope will be a long and fulfilling jounery to a body that I can be proud of. I am not about to get all mussy and say what I hope to accomplish; I’m just going to do it and keep on track. I pray that if someone reads my entries that they will give insight on what I can do better and help me stay on track. Look forward to this journey with high hope and no regrets.
