One day at a time

Eating fairly well today with 1 hr cardio. I feel great! My workout is a 4/2 mix. 4 days cardio/2 days weightlifting. I am focusing more on fat loss versus muscle gain at this time. Hopefully everyone is doing what is necessary to reach their goals.

 I realized today that the "little inner voice" is a punk! So, unless you train that little inner voice (liv) to strive and keep going you will more than likely quit. I wanted to go home and be lazy today. This is usually how I reward myself for successfully making it through another Monday in my office! But I fought L.I.V. and won! I went to the gym, accomplished an hour of cardio and I jumped off the elliptical like ROCKY!!! One day at a time, one triumph at a time to reach our goals! BEAT the crap out of L.I.V! Or train L.I.V to be a motivator versus a hater!

One day at a time

Well this week begins my office 12 Days of eating! This will be my greatest test ever. 12 Days, not including the weekend, of eating mayhem. All the salt and sugar you can consume over 12 days! Who in the world can pass this test.

My goal is to workout 1-1 1/2 hours a day and maintain as much eating sanity that I can. The holidays are rough for anyone who is transforming there body. However,  this is the most challenging experience I have ever experienced. I am seeking a transformation contest to join in January are there any up and coming contests for Bodybuilding.com? Good Luck on your goals BB All-Stars!!!

 Breakfast: oatmeal/eggs

Fueling: Protein Bars

Lunch: Turkey Sand/apples

Fueling: Protein Shake

Workout

Dinner: Beef Stew

Over and Over Again!

When does this madness stop! When does this lifestyle make sense! I read the blogs, I see the pics, I see the meal plans, I see the supplements but I do not see myself transformed. I am realizing that none of the previous ingredients matter if I have not made a committed, conscious decision to create a path of greatness for myself. A balanced path that is suitable and attainable for myself. I can watch transformations from the Biggest Loser and Bodybuilding.com, but if I do not make put discipline behind these desires then I am merely dreaming. I need discipline or I will live in a fatboy continuum, an overweight GROUNDHOGS DAY if you will, of me getting up everyday and never reaching my goal. Be achievers, Be successful, DREAM with DISCIPLINE!!!

NFL Transformation

Day 84/83

Monday, July 20th, 2009

Day 84 was non-eventful -free day. I had one cheat meal at Red Lobster…the cheddar biscuits were calling me! Day 83 - I did not miss a step…back in the gym for LBWO. I got some abs in as well. DETERMINED.FOCUSED.RELENTLESS. Either I am going to give or the weights are going to give! I am going to make the elliptical "tap out" tomorrow…UFC style, baby!!!

 Eats:

 0630 - turkey chop,egg whites

0900 - protein shake

1200 - chicken breast, whole grain rice

1500 - protein bar

1800 - pork chop, greens

Day 85

Saturday, July 18th, 2009

I got 30min of cardio in. However, I did wash the truck and cut the grass, so I probably did 3 hrs of cardio. I feel better and all the activities of the day seemed flawless. Taking break tomorrow and picking things backup on Monday. Eating is still healthy and sensible.

Day 86

Awesome UBWO this morning! I will finish up this week with 1 hour of cardio tomorrow. FOCUS, FOCUS, FOCUS.

 Eats:

0630 - (4) Turkey sausage, (1/2c) of egg whites

0900 - 20g protein shake

1200 - Chicken breast, whole grain rice

1530 - Trail mix

1800 - Baked chicken,brocoli

2100 - yogurt,cottage cheese

Day 87

Thursday, July 16th, 2009

Ok. Today I am tired. I got to the gym at 4:30. I was able to get in 45min cardio. I believe I am eating enough, however, I feel bloated for some odd reason. I am reducing my protein from 40gm to 20gm for mid-snacks tomorrow. I am ready for tomorrow but I am getting some sleep tonight!

 Eats:

 0630 - (4) turkey sausage, (1/2c) egg whites

0900 - Protein shale (40g)

1200 - Turkey sandwich

1500 - Protein bar (peanut butter Supreme Protein bar)

1800 - Baked chicken, brocoli

Going to bed around 2030

Day 88

Wednesday, July 15th, 2009

I am moving along. 35min of LBWO - good burn majority of the day. I realize I will have to get to the gym…even earlier! Earlier to get more time in. I have been getting only 30-35mins in. My goal is 45min each workout. So, 4:15 am tomorrow boys and girls!

 Today’s eats:

 0630 - (4) turkey sausage,(1/2cup) egg whites

1015 - protein shake

1200 - turkey sandwich

1500 - protein bar

1800 - chicken breast, brocoli

2100 - self-made trail mix (Ingredients: walnuts,cashews,chocolate chips,macadamian,sunflower,cranberries,cashe
ws) - handful

Day 89 - RELENTLESS

Tuesday, July 14th, 2009

I was the first person in the gym this morning…4:45 am! No balloons, confetti or marching band..just the unforgiving weights and cardio equipment. My job is to be RELENTLESS. I got in 30min of HIIT cardio. Things will get easier. Someone told me that what makes a person successful is doing the "extra" that ordinary people won’t do.

 Meal plan today:

 630 - cottage cheese, yogurt, strawberries/blueberries

900 - Protein shake

1200 - Tuna sandwich

300 - protein bar

600 - Chicken breast, spinach

900 - protein shake
