Well last night I ran/walked 10 miles on the treadmill, it was fun at first, then was brutal at the end… but I loved it none the lesss. I started out running for about 3.5 miles, then power walked for another 4.5 and walked out the rest, it took me just under 3 hours, but I feel great this morning! I think it was a good shook to the system!
Hay a great day! stay strong!

Well I do and I love it, 1st off I work at Nike, so I try out all the fun toys! Right now we are doing a retail holiday challenge, its over the next 45 days and it is off to a great start. I’m #1 in my district, and #10 in the company. The best part is this is forcing me to get conditioned fast. I’ve been trying to up my cardio for MMA, and now the sheer thill of trying to win is pushing me. there are people who are doing 10+ miles a day. But I’ll do the best and if need be hit it twicw a day!
So who else has one and who loves it?

Well today was a killer high energy workout! Started off with 5 min on the treadmill for warmup, then I went on to a psycho circuit. 1st round was a warm up
Bench 95lb, pulldowns 90lb, bench 95lb, seated row 90lb
straight into a working set
bench 185lb, pulldowns 110lb, bench 185, seated row 110lb did 2 complete circuits
1 mile tread mill, 2 more sets same weight then another mile on the tread mill, I finished with a 20 min of streaching got it all done in a little over an hour. My reps were between 20-15 getting less as the sets went on. fill good and pumped. Will try to get in another 2 miles during my lunch hour. all in all a great workout!
Everyone have a great day, and God bless! stay strong!

Well its taken some getting use to switch from a bodybuilding workout to a more MMA workout, still trying to gain muscle and stregth, but now my cardio is remped up. not just to stay lean, but to get my energy and endurance up. So far so good. This has been quite the eye opener for me, before I would cardio the proper respect, now I have nothing but respect for it. doing 5, 5 min rounds with a min rest on both treadmill, and heavey bags. tough!
I got 3 weeks before I see my buddy and get some seriou training and sparing in, so from here on out it will be cardio 110% but I have great faith I can do any thing I set my mind on. we can do all things through are lord Jesus Christ!

Well got to say it was a great day off, got in morning cardio, 3 miles, then did a few errands and had some lunch, then off to the gym for a fantastic chest day, hit flat bench, incline bench, cable cross overs, then the hammer strength chest machine, and a few sets of dumbbell bench, hit some ab works full sit ups followed by crunches, then another 3 miles. feeling pretty good, a tad bit tired, but hey thats ok, I’ll be able to hit the sack earlyer than normal, and be charged up for the morning.

Well just got my Nike plus Sportsband yesterday, and will be trying it out today. Its basicly a pedometer, but oh so much more. You accuaally put the sensor in your left shoe (there are special shoes that have a spot for it), and then theres a watch that communacates wirelessly to the sensor. It keeps track of all your stats, time, pace, distance, caliories burned. and when you log on to there website (Nikeplus.com) it will keep a graph for you similar to trackers on here. Theres also an option to connect the sensor to an Ipod, but the watch is perfect, since I do not own an Ipod. With this I’m hopeing to bump up my cardio, cause now I’ll know everything , and can tell if I slack off.
Well My workouts are going well, next week my wife will be out of town, and so I’ll be doing some shock training and hitting the gym twice a day for something new. Well everyone have a great day, and God bless!
