Stupid work blocked the bodyspace part of BB.com so now I can’t access it at work - that’s where I used to write all my posts. Anyway - I have been slack and definately need to get on more for motivation and accountability.
I just took some new progress piccies…uh oh! Hello CARDIO….since I finished the challenge 2 things have gone down….my amount of cardio and my strictness with my eating. It’s almost like I’m off season - but staying off! Not good for the expanding figure.
Anyway, I have been meaning to pick it up (cardio) and clean it up (eating) so it’s time to jump back on the band wagon - don’t get me wrong - I bust it out nearly every day at the gym but it’s just the iron - I have a love affair with the iron!
It’s exhilirating and fun…..I LOVE IT! But I gotta keep reminding myself it is only a piece of the puzzle - I have been building some SERIOUS muscle but to get that ripped effect - the body weight has got to drop! It’s time….haha! I sound like I’m trying to convince you guys - but I am definately trying to convince myself.
So I’m off to it tomoz morning - big cardio and abs session before work and then a big back and bi’s session with my boy at night. He thinks I complain too much - so there won’t be a single negative word come out of my mouth 2moz. He is soooo proud of what I have achieved so I just need to stop bitching and he will be even more proud - haha!
So peeps - it’s great to be back on….hopefully I’ve got some good results to share in the next couple of weeks - I know I can do it - it’s been done before!
Peace…HJ x

Whoops…so I was supposed to Blog after every week’s weigh in to track progress….might have slipped a little their…but progress is good! I was getting really down cause I didn’t think I was getting the results I wanted…stupid really considering i nearly have no clothes left that fit me nicely and everyone keeps telling me how amazing I look - but you are always your worst critic…so I did my 8 week measurements last friday…stats so far. I have lost a massive 10kg fat mass and gained a massive 4 kilos of lean mass - ALL IN 8 weeks. so scale weight is 6. Which I am happy with. I just can’t believe I gained that much lean though! although I have been smashing the weights - split body parts bout 5 times a week - you can see by my profile pic my muscle definition is incredible compared to my starting physique.
So I’m happy - got 4 weeks to go - going to UP the cardio massively and see if I can shred the fat off for the finale.
Bought my challenge graduation/dinner dress today and it is the tiniest bit from being able to do up - can’t wait to snugly zip it up! So so so so exciting!
Definately going to keep an eye on my progress each week so I know what I need to do each week until finale….woo hoo!

So - we had our 4 week 12 wk challenge weigh into day…
TOTAL KG LOST = 3.7kgs
BODY FAT LOST = 6kg
LEAN MASS GAINED = 2kg
5cm off my waist - WOO HOO
3 cm off my arms and thighs - which is incredible.
Pulled some really good numbers! So excited!
but I know I can do so much better - I know I can clean up my diet a tonne! It is good on average, but there is definately room for improvement..and continue to make sessions a MUST! Missed a couple due to craziness/busyness….
So this next four weeks - diet is going to be my focus and increasing my cardiovascular fitness. Strength is awesome at the moment….working Back, Chest, Legs 2 times a week each. loving it - and really seeing some massive muscle increase! Awesome feeling.
So proud! But know I can do more!

Hey yall…so two things…I didn’t get to weigh in last friday to check my progress…I could imagine it wasn’t amazing…missed a couple of workouts due to CRAZINESS….and may have given into chocolate TWO days in a row! Whoops! haha!
But back on the banwagon this week. Mon was a killer PT session AM and massive cardio and abs session PM - then this morning was Bootcamp and Cardio and nothing tonight! I’ve got until Friday until I have to have my first measurements day for the 12 wk challenge….so that will be interesting - a little scared cause I KNOW I haven’t given EVERYTHING I could…but still I’ve given a hell of a lot more than I used to….
My clothes are getting looser, and I am really noticing changes in my muscle tone and body shape which is very encouraging!
Will be taking more progress pictures this weekend to mark my 4 weeks…hopefully I can see a real difference.
Will check in this friday and let ya’s know the change!

WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO! Soooooooo excited just in case you can’t already tell.
Weighed in this morning and cracked the 90 kilos - 2 kgs down from last week to 89.2. So so so so excited that I lost 2 kg in one week AND cracked the 90 mark which I haven’t been in YEARS! WOW.
Ok so I have to admit - i DID give into two choc binges this week - which is really bad! But I am feeling good about my food choices otherwise.
So happy with the results.
I showed my trainer fat photos of myself from 1 and a half yrs ago and six months ago and he can’t believe the difference. Fat photos are MASSIVE motivation for me! Love it!

Soooo…..today was my weigh in for the end of week 1 - 12 week challenge. I wasn’t gonna weigh in and just wait for the 4 week mark…but then realised if I keep track of my week to week progress..then i can go hard when I’m not satisfied. Like today I weighed in at 800gms less than starting week…91.2 kg - ok, granted that is a loss and the lighest I’ve been in years….but it’s not good enough for the training I have been doing. I trained pretty much twice a day nearly everyday….and killed my cardio - but I KNOW i can do more. I walk away from every session with heaps of energy left…so I just need to kill that 45/50/60 minutes while I’m in it.
Also, there were a couple of slips this week - MINOR - but slips with my eating. A choc binge yesterday and this morning a cookie…haha! But I will just move on and aim for cleaner and better next week.
Had chats with my PT and fitness directors and they are thinking I will SMASH the 12 week challenge, that my heads in the zone, that I was ready for it, that I am staying motivated and loving it.
Study is taking a back seat a bit - but I will catch up on the weekend…I was prepared to have no life for 12 weeks between the challenge and my study….so that’s cool….need to rest. I am getting a cold at the moment which is NOT GOOD FOR ME cause I’m the BIGGEST sook when it comes to that. But I don’t really feel it when I’m at the gym - so that helps.
LOVING IT - hoping to see some great results. Want to get to the 90 mark by this time next week. And 12kg in 12 weeks! I CAN DO THIS.

Well this morning I got poked, prodded, measured, weighed and photographed for our local gyms 12 wk challenge. So pumped for it…a bunch of us are undertaking it and getting PT sessions etc. Can’t wait for that "after" photo - I’m telling you know it is so going to be worth it. YAY
I want to concentrate on fat loss in this 12 weeks - so majority of cardio etc. Have been doing cardio every morning and strength training 3 x a week.
Will start doing monday morn PT sessions which will be good to keep me motivated and accountable - very important for me. Right now I’m sooooo tired - so it all seems like a massive venture - but I’m up for it!
Keep posted….will get progress pics up soon!

So….in my ‘about me’ section I talked about being ‘all or nothing’ - well that never changes with me….after going really hard for a couple of weeks and seeing some great results - I have discovered an old knee injury that has flared up and really took me down this week - so even though my training took a hit this week - my nutrition did too…all or nothing! It’s so unhealthy - so because I wasn’t training - I also wasn’t eating right - cause I had nothing to eat right for! Grrr…and to top it off - this years valentines weekend I was flying solo, so in my state of mourning (remembering last valentines day) - I took it upon myself to eat all my favourite cheat foods, and polish off a couple of bottles of wine - and now I am suffering with a bloated stomach and no energy to do anything about it…so BACK ON THE BANWAGON i say! I am just about to go shopping for this weeks groceries - to keep me oon top of it all.
Im gonna make this an "ALL" week!

Woo Hoo! So I had a catch up with my trainer last night after my workout and he was blown away with my progress….he said I’ve started looking tighter and more solid…how awesome. I do admit though - I have been packing on the muscle. I can feel it building and building, but the fat loss is definately a slower process.
I start a 12 Week Challenge in a month with my local club - so that will be a great time frame to see some serious results with the help of my P.T and the ‘challenge’ of it will give me the motivation to actually get my arse burning calories and start melting that fat away.
So he has shifted my program around a bit and I will be starting that tomorrow. He has sent me the challenge of losing 4 kilos (8.8 pounds) in 4 weeks before I start the challenge…so that’s my focus right now!
Can’t wait to start posting some serious results.

It’s funny how when you aren’t thinking about results thats when you start getting the comments on how good you are looking etc. It’s only when you are busting your arse that it seems to take AGES to get to your next goal.
Im currently starting off again after getting really sick for a few months and then the dreaded holiday period. You would think carrying so much extra weight, it would start coming off reasonably quick. But so not the case.
Anyway, I am pumping the iron pretty hard at the moment so I suppose that muscle is weighing higher on the scale and it will soon start replacing the fat and melting it away. I suppose my body is getting back into routine again.
I am quitting the shitty diet meal replacements and going to go back to clean eating…non processed food and see if that makes a difference.
