Felt a twinge in my back on Thursday. I took the weekend off from working out and rested my back. Today felt OK, pain is still there, mild but none the less still there. I will probably take the rest of the week off to make sure back is OK.

This is the third consecutive day I have been knocked down by a sickness. I am praying I wake up feeling better tomorrow. I have taken the last three days to rest and let my body recovery, I am going crazy not being in the gym!!!

Wow, just completed another sprint workout. Feel a whole lot more comfortable doing the sprints. First time I out I only did 8 fifty yard sprints, today I completed 12 fifty yard sprints. My routine was sprint fifty yards then walk back, sprint fifty then walk back. I do this until my legs burn and heart feels like its pounding out of my chest. I am starting to notice improvements in legs growth. I will take measurements tomorrow and compare.

I know I am not the only one. Started back to school this week, schedule is a whirlwind. Work at 6:00 am till 4:00pm, school till 8:00pm or 10:00 depending on day. My eating faltered towards the end of the week. I only was able to get two days into the gym, today being one of them. I am frustrated that I will end up burning out again just like the past 3 semesters. Any suggestions will help on how I can stay focused and motivated. I know I need to keep it going.

Just returned from running sprints… wow kicked my butt. First time I have sprinted since adding about 20lbs, that is a lot of extra weight. Anyway I was about to give up after my first 50 yard sprint but figured if I did I probably would not be back. I grunted out 7 more sprints, with about a 1 to 2 minute rest in between each sprint. I think it is a good start, not sure if I should do once or twice a week though, I guess I will see how I feel.

Had a leg workout this morning. Felt strong but ran out of energy fast. I probably should have eaten first… I will make sure I eat before my next leg workout. Not sure if I need some kind of energy supplements to help out during workout…

Worked on chest and triceps. Felt good, energy levels good. Ate pretty clean today. Trying really hard to resist the urge to drink sodas. I am getting the "good work out" feeling back, I just keep telling myself "I must keep it going". Tomorrow… leg day.

My energy levels are finally starting to rebound. First week back and I was really tired after 30 minutes of lifting. Today I felt strong but no where near what I was lifting a year ago. I am trying to get my body accustomed to getting in the gym since I start back to school next week. That has been my biggest challenge, making time to hit the gym while going to school. No real change physically but like I said energy levels are improving.
