How can I stay when we no longer get along,

It’s like losing the words to your favorite song.

We tried so hard to get the music right,

But the rympth of the beat , made us lose sight.

As a dance is more than music, it is part of the soul,

A torch of passion to the heart ,like fire to a coal.

Many different voices sing the very same tune,

Yet few capture it’s meaning under the moon.

Once a masterpiece of magic wrote out into song,

Now lost –for he read his own words wrong.

A smile upon the face,

And yet empty inside.

Wanting to be noticed ,

And yet to hide.

Surrounded by love,

And yet alone.

Having parents ,

And yet no home.

Wanting to reach out,

And yet no words said.

Having to sleep ,

And yet no bed.

Wanting to eat ,

And yet an empty dish.

Seeing a bright star ,

And yet no wish.

Surrounded by crime,

And yet no fear.

Wanting to cry,

And yet no tear.

Losing to rejection ,

And yet to cope.

Having to survive,

And yet no hope.
