one week till half
did 10 miles yesterday…everything hurts… lol… started new gym last weekend, little grungier than i’m used to but i like seeing different faces, and there seems to be more of a bb atmosphere instead of a bunch of cardio equipment riders
bench went up 10lbs. and overall strength doesn’t seem to be suffering from the running yet… trying to give myself sufficient recovery time between workouts and keeping the weights heavy

good luck with the half–from a runner’s perspective, I’d dial back the weight training this week so you’re not so tired for the run….13 miles is looonnggg way when you’re running on empty.

If you eat right and recover from workouts before pushing hard again, you’ll be golden.

half? Too cold!!! I might do a half this year.
i did a full last year and acutally gained wt in the process. WHenever i did my long runs i would run in my friends neighborhood so we could make pitstops at his house. I was constantly eating those goos and drinking protein drinks at each pitstop.
If you eat enough you shouldnt go into muscle.
