inspired!!

want to say how much i’m inspired by all the people on this site… my impatience often leaves me feeling like i’m not accomplishing much but i have to remember i’ve only been seriously lifting for about 2 months now… i can see those baby muscles forming but i’m having to re-learn how to nourish my body to keep up with demands of building a better body… i just keep looking at all the amazing transformations and i have to know that with all this hard work, my payoff will also be great…

on my third day of rest and feeling much better… my mood has improved considerably :) (my hubby is probably thankful too, hee hee )… now i understand why you can’t keep pushing yourself and expect to have continuing gains…my body was crying for recovery time!! i was itching to go to the gym today, but i’m listening to all the great advice from more experienced bodybuilders… i’m expecting to have a great week in the gym… can’t wait till monday :)

overtrained

two really bad workouts in a row… taking two days off, i think i’m overtrained… tired and cranky… diet is better though… stopping creatine for a couple of weeks… hate that bloated feeling but like the gains…. lost a pound, 3 more to go :)    bodyfat test results back, 16.4%… i’m ok with that, 14% goal doesn’t seem so far away…  reducing carbs is hard!! i could eat a whole loaf of bread :)

starting a new job has stolen my focus…  my training is on track, consistant, my body is definately changing… nutrition is where i need motivation and will…  i’m not eating badly, just too much…  moving from endurance training to bodybuilding is hard!!  trying to make sure i get enough protien, but i’m adding other unneeded calories along with that… starting a journal today to keep up with everything i’m consuming…  i think i’m used to eating alot of carbs to sustain my running, but those aren’t necessary when you’re not MOVING :)
