emotional eating and issues….

i don’t think i’m ever going to reach my figure goals until i really focus on the issues that cause me to cheat and binge.

was too busy to take photos last weekend and didn’t have the tan on til late sunday but will endeavour to do photos THIS sunday….so busy atm.

i stuffed up my 12 week challenge with a couple of binges but i always get back on track and keep going :)

i don’t think i’ll reach my goal of 58kg but hope to get to 14% body fat. I will DEFINITELY get to 58 or 57kg by Xmas and I’m going to Melbourne for NYE!!!!! Sooooo can’t wait!!! ;)

Am starting a low carb diet for the next month or 2 as well to see if I can shift some fat from my belly (it always heads there first, then my hips/butt. lol)

so in summary….i’m still going…keep on truckin’ as they say. haha ;)

progress photos…hmmm

i’ve been avoiding taking any progress photos for fear of disappointment BUT i think i should take some as it may stop me from binge eating every so often.

i seem to be 100% clean for a while (7 weeks is my longest) and then something will come up….a social event when i’m depressed (that’s the main one) and then i will cheat then that will turn into a 2 day binge on muffins, chocolate, anything bad etc.

so this weekend i’m going to buy the best fake tan i can afford (lol) and then take some photos :) hopefully that will get me back on track.

already thinking ahead to 2010….

i really want to get as much as possible out of 2009 but i’m already looking forward to reaching new goals in 2010!

i’m so excited. 2010 will be my year!!!!!

2009 goals

- get weight to approx 58kgs (BF 14%) then work on muscle mass while maintaining lowish body fat

- increase shoulder measurements to 106cm (not sure how realistic this is. i’ve only had one official measurement taken at 103.9cm)

- get my waist measuremnt to a reasonable 72cm and hips to 94cm.

2010 goals

- increase shoulder size to 108??

- complete my PT qualifications and find a fabulous job that makes me happy :)

- research further into competitions and nutrition

- work on my quads (really want that outer sweep)

- also need to concentrate on glutes

Sooooo looking forward to it!! :)

 

only 3 weeks left of the challenge…

where does the time go???

i really have to kick it up a couple of notches to reach my goal (especially after my weekend binges) but i think it’s achievable and if i don’t get there then i’ll be very close to it. :)

so excited but still concerned about my belly. it is my HUGE problem area. need to FOCUS!!! :)

Body Fat (??)

My body fat was recently measured as being 19% by my trainers formula and prob around 14% by the gym’s formula but both of these have me perplexed.

I feel ‘fatter’ than this. I’ve apparently dropped 10% body fat since starting my 12 week challenge but still feel/look the same pretty much so am thinking for me to look like a real competitor my BF would have to read 2% by these formulas!!!!!

Anyone else find it all a little confusing???

Zucchini recipes please!!

I’d love any really healthy zucchini based recipes. For example a zucchini bake of some kind.

I’m planning my meals for around Xmas and want to feel like I’m having a cheat meal without really having one and I LOVE zucchinis!!! And vegetables in general. :)

oh crap…..take 2!!

ate rubbish all weekend….again!! hate myself for it but my measurements came out ok except for my weight (obviously that has gone up but hope to get that back down this week) and my waist (it always goes up after ANY eating)

my body fat is down to 19.2% (according to one formula from my trainer) the gym formula has me as being approx 5% less….. i’m going with the 19.2%. it seems more accurate.

oh crap!!

did it again :( free food so i ate it…..and then some. i ate 3 bread rolls each with a sausage, onion, bbq sauce and mustard!! so yum but so bad!!! I always crave bad and fatty food when my period is due…..does anyone else get this???????

Of course i deeply regret it now and kinda wish i had the courage to throw it up. i know that’s bad but i truly want it out of my body now!!!!

the end of the week is in sight…..and INBA Natural Olympia!!!!! yey!

huge day! this morning was quads and shoulders. i soooo want fab shoulder caps so I’m trying really hard.

i did spin class but was feeling exhausted so didn’t burn many calories. the same went for boxing circuit class tonight.

tomorrow is hamstrings, abs and cardio then a little more cardio in the evening before racing out to see a play with friends. omg a social life!! lol.

And Saturday is the INBA Natural Olympia being held on the Gold Coast!! I’m sooooooo excited. I just spent all of this evening getting my food together for all of tomorrow and Saturday. I don’t want to miss a second! I really want to see how the international competitors compare to our Aussies ;)
