Sunday, June 15th, 2008I have had some minor set backs recently. I will no longer be able to join the marines and so my goals have changed a little bit. After learning I can’t join the marines I was depressed for a few weeks so I wasn’t keeping up on the diet or going to the gym. I decided though that this might not be a bad thing. My goals now are kind of flipped, I still want to lose weight and become healthier, but I think that getting "ripped" might be alittle unrealistic for my body type and structure. I have always been big and strong and now I just want to get bigger and stronger than I ever have been. I want to add lean muscle and strength while still decreasing my body fat percent. Ive always enjoyed watching the strongmen compete and I look up to those men. I have always wondered if I have what it takes to compete and it’s also been a dream of mine to be able to compete. I found it’s easier for me to get bigger and stronger than it is for me to lose body fat so I am going to look and my bodies strengths and work on them. Of course I wouldn’t mind dropping my body fat percent along the way though.
It’s a new week, we will see how it goes.
