Welcome!

Okay my hubby made me do this :-)

Well I want to get in shape. I want to try to loose my post-baby belly. I have done as much chsange to my body as I can by just slightly chamging my diet. Now I need to get serious. I need to somehow find some motivation and hold onto it long enough to make it habit. I have been walking/running on the treadmill for at least 3 weeks for 30 mins 3 times a week. Now I think I am ready to add in lifting and other activities. I tried a pilates reformer class at Baileys Tuesday night and I am trying a cardio pilates class tomorrow (saturday) with my friend. It suks though cause they just increase the price by more than 50% for the classes.  I thought doing them witha friend would help keep me motivated. We do have a bunch of weight equipment in our basement thanks to hubby though but I get lonely down there by myself. I am struggling prioritizing and scheduling lifting into my schedule though. I work, go to school, and have a hubby and baby to tend to and I still like to try to have relax time and sleep.

    Hi! I wanted to share with you the success I have found with sprints. I have been doing 50 yd sprints slowly increasing the number every time. If you run with knees high and like a bear is chasing you, it is so effective on the abs. Also, I suggest you up the cardio time to 45min-1hr for a bit. I have tried so many different tactics..I love to share:)

    ah i think i could try increasing the time, just have to wake up earlier and i hate hate cardio! well mostly because i hate the treadmill and hubby says we cantnot get an eliptical because we dont have enough room for one. Thanks!
