Well we have started in March already and it is galloping away like a mad thing,  For the last 4 weeks i have not really been able to train at my gym due to an infection,  this has had a bit of a negative effect on me.  If i want to chase my goals i have to eat and train hard, missing the training out feels terrible.  I am sure i will recover quickly enough.

On the more positive side i decided to take some new pics and measurments,  I am ever so slowly growing.  Now at 158lb:)  Who said the journey was going to be easy, non one at all said that.  I will get back to my training soon enough:)

I think i have neglected this blog for way to long.  I will be updating the site with new pics and how training is going soon.  I am making steady constant progress and i seem to be going in the right direction.  Should learn too blog a bit more often as i said in a previous post.

I write this on out Mayday holiday here.  So much has happened in the last month it is quite unreal.

I think I will start off on Congratulations to one of my best friends.  He competed in his first bodybuilding show in April.  Russ big pat on the back from me and you have to know you really inspired me to go for it and chase my goals harder.  Good to have friends like you J

My next news is that i have recently changed gyms,  what a great move that was.  I didn’t realise how much i was missing by being in a fitness orientated gym.  I am now with some really fantastic people and they are all so down to earth and have no egos  or show offs.  They are just there to train,  so different to where i used to go.  Being a smaller guy  i thought it was going to be really hard to mix in with everyone,  My misconception totally i was felt so welcome and i have even made some new friends there now.  Thank you all in my new gym J  I will post some new pics when i get some.

Having been building now for 1 year i decided to try and find some old pics  of my body.  I didn’t really succeed until a week ago and found 1 pic.  I was about 130lb and a little skinny lookin, not much muscle on me at all.  I now compare to today and i am still lean but i have a fair amount of muscle on my frame now.  Along way to go, but I am enjoying my journey learning all the time from many people and my own mistakes.

Saying all this has inspired me to go one step further,  This time next year I will be competing in my very first show myself J this was brought on by no small part of Russ competing.  I want to experience for myself what it is like to see how your hard work will pay off.  Not decided 100% which area and which show i want to compete in.  I will no doubt come up with a plan.  I want to do a natural show.  I have some friends whom i will seek guidance off,  All have been supportive and i look forward to hitting the stage soon.

I have been neglecting to update this blog but as from this date forth I shall be making a weekly update.  A fair amount has happened since my last entry back in July 2007,  All my lifting stats have gone up  10 – 15% and my body has started to bulk out a little bit.  Noticed by me and others.  This has been a great confidence boost and made me push myself even more.  Being on my own in the gym sometimes has a negative effect on the pushing.  I have set myself some big goals for the next year,  April 2009 i am wishing to compete in a Amateur  Natural Bodybuilding show,  this is a big goal for me,  I am seeing a close friend cutting up for a show and he truly inspires me to go and chase this goal.  He may be hundreds of miles away from me but has made me push myself hard J You know who you are out there.

Saying all the above it really is dependent on whether I can gain another 20lb of lean muscle,  I am a really hard gainer of any weight at all.  I get a good diet now with on an average day of 3200 cals.  This time last year I was 140lb as of March 2008 I am now 145lb.  This is a little low but I had not been tuning my diet for allot of that.  In my own head 5lb gain is better than nothing at all.  Lets hope with a new drive i will reach my goals and succeed.

In this blog I would just like to wish one of my best friends Russ all the best with your up and coming show now only 34 days awayJ  You shall meet all your goals I know you will.  Your will power is so strong.  GOOD LUCK

Well its been a while since i have updated here but here goes.

Since i have been back i kept to my new diet and what a marked effect that has had on me.  I cut down on coffee and i am now experiancing more energy and less sleepy.

What can be said really,  I had a superb time whilst i was in the US now that i am back i went back to my gym invigurated and raring to go.  Having learned how to use free weights i was keen too try and do this in my home gym.  I thought it was going to be easy to do but for me it was not,  i am a little  too self concious when it comes down to it and find that the bigger guys feel intimerdatin.  I am sure its not the case.  I manged to do some bicep work in the free weights area but that was all.  I just need too build my confidence up now.

 Gains this week have been ok i gained another 2lb of muscle which i am really pleased about.  Gainin more strength on my upper body aswell.  Overall this week considerin i didnt have such a motivated friend behind me i felt it was a good week. 

 Goals for next week are too eat more gain more weight and try and get my chest too come out more.

Well this is my forst blog on here so will keep it short.

I am still new to bodybuilding, have alot to learn.  Been growing steadily for the last 6 months and made some good gains.  I continue too progress.  This year is my year that i will nuckle down and be determined too change myself even more.  I hope too get too 160lb by the fall of the year and maintain a low bf.  I have strong friends that have helped me keep my motivation and nerves on check.

Big thanks too Russ without him i wouldnt have started and got this far:)
