Legs and Cycling
I hit my legs today. I started with squats but am having trouble because it kills my shoulder (due to past injury) more than my knees. I use squats just to warm up. I then hit leg press and am doing 290lbs for 4 sets of 8. Not too bad for a guy with chicken legs, which I hate. I did sideways lunges with 35lb dumbbells for 4 sets of 12. I then hit my calves. I know I did atleast 7 reps with plenty of weight for me. I have my kid’s names on my calf and would love for them to get bigger. I then did 3 sets of 8 of 130lb leg curls and 3 sets of 10 leg extension with 120lbs. My legs felt great. I am loving the Gaspari SuperPump250. I then hit cycling class for 45 minutes. I forced myself because I shared a blizzard with my little girl last night. The guilt got to me a bit. Eating clean is becoming easier. I see food as a source energy and nutrition rather than tasting delicious. I need to win lottery and buy me a nutritionist that cooks tasty healthy food. Right now I’ll eat tuna out of the can and wash it down with water.
