Bigger, Stronger, Faster The Movie

This past weekend I watched the movie and I thought it was a great documentary.  It explained the pros and cons from a non judge mental side.  I thought it was put together very nicely.  I would recommend watching it to anyone that has an open or closed mind about steroids and performance enhancers.  Personally I don’t take steroids and don’t plan on it but I’m not against it.  Because really if you do take steroids it doesn’t mean your going be the next Mr. Olympia or bench 500.  You still have to do work in order to achieve those goals it just helps you gain some size.

That’s true, but don’t you think that the playing field is slanted in their favor even if you both spend the same amount of time training and consume the same type diet? I figure if people want to juice, hey, knock yourself out, but don’t walk around talking about you’re "all natural". Just my rant on the subject

I was so excited to see this movie when it came out! I really liked how they touched on the gene therapy (blocking the myostatin gene, which they didn’t specifically say) as something in the future to look at. Most importantly I’m glad it clarified what a steroid is as most people have no idea they’re using a steroid product, particularly women on birth control.
