Modivation, where are you!?!

So I just posted some recent pictures and I am just praying that I just took some god awful ones because if that is the real way I look I think I am going to cry. I have been for the last year going to the gym twice a day EVERY day. I get in about 45 minutes of weights 5 days a week doing a split and I get in about 5 cardio sessions a week totally 60 minutes each. I also most days on top of those two sessions get in 45 minutes of walking. So what gives? I have only been eating 1600 cals (which is higher than what I am use to but think that I need to give my body fuel to get through the work outs). This is what I am doing. PLEASE onece again (I feel like I am constantly asking for help) tell me what I am doing wrong. I usually dont eat soy at all but this week I am because I am so sick of bland chicken and light tuna. I am currently 123 at 5′3.

My plate:

wake at 8:00

9:30-organic oats (1 pack) 1/2 cup of fat free cottage cheese, 3 egg whites and some surgar free creamer only 10 cals no carbs.

12:00-soy sauage patty and 4 egg whites

1:00-lifting 45 minutes, 4 caps of BCAA’s and 2 caps of L-Caritine

2:15-4 caps of BCAA’s and 2 Caps of L-Carintine. 1 can of light tuna w/ mustard only on a bed of mixed greens

4:00-carb watcher yogurt 15 grams of protein, 5 grams of carbs and 80 cals

5:00-one hour of cardio

6:30-Chicken salad

9:00-hot tea and some butternutt squash,  (30 cals)raw almonds (like 10)

I am drinking a gallon of water too a day.

Help! What gives? Should I look into a fat burner?`

A few thoughts: (I’m assuming you’re trying to lose a "little" BF for definition, as you are not overweight):

    1) How consistent is your diet? Is this indicative of your diet everyday? Also, you may need to slightly lower the daily amount of calories. Eating clean is proper, but you also have to be at a daily calorie deficit.

    2) It looks to me like you’re doing way too much training. Wts & cardio everyday? Your body needs rest. Both from off days, and from getting plenty of sleep.

    3) Try doing HIIT instead of the LONG, plodding, boring stead state cardio. HIIT only takes 15-30 min’s. It raises the metabolism higher than steady-state cardio, but importantly, it keeps it raises for longer duration after the workout.

I agree w/ the above comment…you could be over training. but, as always diet is KEY!! Make sure you’re getting lean protein, carbs and healthy fats at every meal…pre and post workout nutrition is very important so be sure you are fueling yourself for your training :)

I think Al has it. I went through a similar issue with overtraining. It can kill your results. I hope all is well and you get this sorted out. We’re pulling for you.
