Feelin Good Feelin Great!

So staying on track is a great feeling! I am doing so well lately and I am loosing. I have been doing a ton of cardio but eating a little more. I had to cut my protein intake I was getting about 150-180 grams a day and I weight 121 pounds. I had to go to the doctor because I missed my period. The doctor said that I was over doing it on deit and exercise and my body wasnt producing the estrogen it need to have a cycle. This is pretty scery stuff for a 27 year old. I was worried because my doctor said that I needed to cut down on the protein and also the exercise. I knew that I could do the protein part (the shakes were making me so bloated you wouldnt believe it). However, I am literally addicted to exercise and when she said that I needed to cut way down on the exercise I about fainted. I did cut down on the protein (100-120 grams now) and stayed the same on exercising and low and behold. I got a visit from my monthly friend! I am sorry if this is too much information but I wonder if this is normal? Have any of you ladies had this happen to you? I have no one to ask around me  (no one I know eats/works out the way I do) so here I am again, asking my fellow bodyspacers! I hope you all are having a great hump day.

Back on Track

Ok so I am back on track and I feel good about it. I got my food for the week and settled back in. I am in my new office and I think that I am still going to be able to make it to the gym on my lunch breaks to lift we will see today (I will time it). Today is day two of no drinking until Thanksgiving dinner. I can and will do this. I mean it is only a month. The thing is that after I get through this month I know that it will be all down hill from here. I know that I will loose some weight if I do this which is what I want. It is just so hard to say no when you are stressed or out and about. The fall is when i usually take a break anyway! I hope you all are having a greta day I know that it sure feels good to be back from vacation/birthday madness of eating and drinking whatever I want! Back to the grind!

Enough is Enough

I am so ready for this and today is the first day of this challange. NO MORE ALCOHOL. I know that I can do this, I just wanted to post this so that I would hold myself accountable. If you have any tips on how to decline alcohol or be in a party atmosphere and not drink PLEASE let me know. I am a musican and live in a huge collage town, I have go to do this and I know that if I give it up I will have more energy to do my work outs AND will be saving up to 1200 calories a week (That is almost a whole days worth of calories for me!!!!) Anyway, you guys are so good to me and I know that between the support that I get on here and giving my self a challange I can do this. So cheer me on!!!!

Enough is Enough

It’s My BIRTHDAY!!!!

No one reads this but that is ok I am tooting my own horn. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOOOOOOOOO MEEEEE! I am going to have a cheat meal tonight and will allow myself a couple drinks. I know that I shouldnt but come on….It’s my birthday! I am also going on vacation tomorrow for a week. eeeeeeekkkk. I am going to have to stick to my plan while I am away (I can, I will). When I get back I am going to go cold turkey no drinking until a Thanksgiving drink! Then I will do the same until Christmas. I have to have one drink with my family on those days and I dont think that is over doing it. It is going to be hard for me (I have already cut waaaaaay down) I do want to stop the drinking all together though. That is the only way for me to get to my goal and I know that. Baby steps. It’s hard when you live in a town that is 85% between the ages of 19-28. EVERYONE here parties. I am done with it though, I want the body I have been dying for! I will see you guys when I get back from vacation and let you know how it goes! Kiss Kiss. Oh yes and I will be taking some much needed pictures and posting them soon. Kiss kiss!

Advice, Taken~!

Ok so I found a great person on here (char) and I am taking some of the advice that she has given me! I need to up my calories a bit. I do eat every 2.5 hours already but I also need to make have more calories packed in each to get me through my two workouts a day. So I went out and bought some zone bars. My plate for today looks like this:

8:30-The Ultimate Meal w/ 1/2 banana and 1/2 scoop 100% isolate whey

10:30-zone bar

12:30-Steamed kale and soy beans, super pump 250

1:00-50 minutes weights

2:00-1/2 scoop 100% whey isolates

3:00-Low carb wrap with Tuna and spinach

4:30-cardio dance class 50 minutes

6:00-1 scoop 100% whey isolates

7:00-Tuna wrap with spinach

 

This is the pla for today which will give me about 125 grams of carbs, 150 grams of protein and 20 grams of fat! WHAT DO YOU THINK?

“sigh”

So I went on vacation and I had a blast EXCEPT to get home and see that the sca/le said 125. I gained 5 pounds. I exercised every day that I was there and only allowed my self a cheat meal here and there. I am sick. I want to know is there a way that eating too much protein (about 150-180 grams a day at least 3 shakes with whole foods). Will it make you gain weight? Will eating this much protein make me gain muscle and fat? I am guessing that if I want to get the 8 pounds off I should keep lifting heavy but also add in about 5 days of cardio. Read my questions PLEASE and answer them I need help before I go back to just eating veggies all day!!!!
