drinking clean? I mean are you still drinking sodas, albeit diet. Or how about alcohol? I see so many guts on guys still on here. Hello, guys, wake up call. You are never, never going to have or if you are young keep a six pack with continued alcohol consumption eventually if it hasn’t already it will catch up with you! As far as I am concerned if you are still drinking alcohol then you are not eating a clean diet. Now, I know there is some health benefits to a glass of wine, but even then, we are not talking 10-12 oz glasses. So be realistic. If you truly want your dream body, dump the booze!
Your turn! Sound off! Thanks!

Christmas parties this month?
I am going to one tonight! I can not wait. I missed this party last year as they had the wrong email address for me so I didn’t get my invitation. Well, I got my invite this year and I am dressed to party today. I am wearing a nice fitting pair of jeans with a black and silver western style belt, Black high heel boots, a red sweater with a black and white winter scene sweater over it. I have my silver wreath earrings on, my silver wreath pin, and a red and silver xmas bracelet. This party is so much fun as I get to see people from two of my past employers and each time I go I look even better so It is so much fun to show up and show off the new and improved me. I will concentrate on the conversation and not on the food. Another plus about this party is my kids can come as they have a son the same age as my twins, in fact, they all go to the same school. Well, perhaps, tomorrow’s blog will report how I did foodwise. Today is a big eating day as I have a volunteer luncheon today too at the State Capital retunda. I will just concentrate on eating the best choices and, of course, enjoying myself.

Hubby just ordered my shopping list of supplements that I wanted. I have been out for awhile so it was extensive plus I had made a new plan up and wanted specific items. Anyways, it totaled over $112 dollars which did include amino acids that he added. I had him order, glutamine, creatine, No-Xplode, and chromium picolinate.
So your turn! Sound off! Thank you!

Well, I started Tuesday full of stress. I had to finish disaggregating accounts payable and accounts receivables for the State’s comprehensive annual financial statements (CAFR) and finish my other post employment benefits (OPEB) footnote which included finding why my balance was off 1.5 million dollars. (I know that seems like a lot of money but when you are dealing with a liability that is over 84 millions, not so much!) Well, I had projected I would have my disaggregating done by 1:30 p.m. In reality, it was more like 4:30 p.m. I had vowed to the auditors that I would stay overnight if I had to in order to resolve the OPEB issue. Well, by 6 p.m. I had figured it out, two things caused it one was my own error and the other another parties transactions. (I book the liability for the whole state during year end process). Well, me and my boss discussed it and she really doesn’t want to make an adjustment as it would affect the general fund, but more importantly all the internal service funds and enterprise funds. As a whole the correction may seem large, but when divided between all these funds, probably not material. Therefore, she is leaning towards no adjustment. Today, she will pitch this to her boss and see what he says. I got my footnote done and was out of the office last night by 7 p.m.
So I went to the gym and this is what I did:
Warmed up 5 minutes 3.5% incline and 4.0 mph
Incline DB Flyes 1×12 (17.5) 1X12 (20) 1X12 (22.5)
Cable crossovers 2 sets overhead and 1 set waist level. 1×15(10), 1×12 (7.5), 1×15 (7.5)
supersetted with push ups 1×15, 2×9
Dumbbell Tricep Kickbacks 3×12 (10)
Crunches 4×25
Finished off with 18 minutes on eliptical trainer level 4 burning 144 calories
I had a big smile on my face the whole time working out as I knew my work stress had ended! Oh, by the way, I saw the GNC guy, another dude I don’t know his name, Seth, who used to work there, Wes, a cute national guard who flies helicoptors on the weekends, and Dan, another state accountant that I worked with for a whole month! See I do know a few names.

Soda, diet soda, water, milk, juice, other?
As for me, 9 times out of 10 it will be water. I love water. I also like tea. Occasionally I drink soda but this would be 1-2 times a year and my preference is cream soda.

When you have cravings, what do you crave? Is for sweets? salt?
When I have cravings, 9 times out of 10, it is for sweets. However, today, I saw a co-worker eating pretzels and I started craving salt. So I broke open my reduced fat triscuits and I have been munching on those.
Okay, your turn! Sound off! Thanks as always!

Well the gym was full of people tonight and a few I actually say hi to. Erica and her buff hubby were there. They waved. Then, the two single dudes that train together, one who I think has a crush on me, but is too shy to talk to me. I said hi to them and explained how I have been working 6 weekends straight. Finally, the dude that works at GNC was there and asked me about the Missoula show and if I planned to complete in it. Of course, I am. Please note: I only know Erica’s name how sad is that. Note to self: I really should take the time to learn people’s names at the gym. Oh well, here is what I did: 5 minutes warm up on the treadmill 3.5% incline 4.0 mph.

Did you exercise? Did you control your portions? Did you stay within a reasonable calorie intake?
Well, for me, I burned over 300 calories riding my horse up a mountain and back. Then, as for calories, I ate less than 2,000 calories for the entire day, so I am happy. I got on the scale this morning and did not gain any weight so I am pleased.

In the spirit of the holiday, I thought it would be great to write down all the things we are thankful for.
One of my all time favorite holiday movies is Holiday Inn with Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire. In the movie, Bing sings a song called "I’ve got plenty to be thankful for." So as the holiday approaches (2 hours away for me), I want to take this time to reflect on all the good things in my life: good health, family, friends, health of my family, a job, my animals, all my many talents, my freedom, my house, my furniture, my car. So many things, but I will stop at that.
One addendum, I want to take this opportunity to thank all the men and women who are overseas fight for our freedom.
Your turn! Sound off! Thank you!
