Check your look in the mirror...are your eyes shiny?...or is there darkness?

Figure that out and youll know whether your goals will ever be reached. 

We are ALL born with shiny eyes...even those born without sight...or eyes for that matter. Its the combination of natural traits and environment that determines what comes next. 

My eyes stayed shiny for most all of my childhood...with GLARING brightness. That allowed me to rediscover them when darkness tinted them. See, I realized they never really went dark altogether...they just faded. 

I mentioned in my last blog about getting things backwards in life...shiny eyes are just that way. You cant just try to fix things in life and expect happily ever after to follow. You have to find your Shine first.

Sheer determination can power thru anything for a defined peiod of time...but without developing Passion and Desire, it WILL get dark again. Its that shine that keeps it alive forever.

Ok...so WTF are shiny eyes?

1. The abiltiy to BREATHE naturally...Good health, Solid mind. The two are interwoven and essential for each other to thrive. If you are in poor physical health (yes, put down that donut, this includes obesity)...your mental/emotional health suffers. If you are not strong in the head and soul...your body gets sick. Ugly sick.

2. Security. Basic animal instinct tells us to survive...that creates the need for enough money to provide shelter, food, and basic comforts to allow life. The problem is, most get blinded by it...letting it rule them and their choices. TRUE security is knowing how much is enough, aquiring it, and seeing the rest as it really is...extra.

3. Love. You have to have the strength, trust, and humanity to open your heart...without a bouncer guarding it. When you shine, many want in...LET THEM. Each person brings something different...family, friends, or soul mate...long or short term...Love is NEVER bad to accept. Give Love genuinely. Be aware and true to your heart. You should never have to call on your head. REAL Love happens without a schedule...all on its own...like a rainbow.

4. Enthusiasm. This is the Laughter...Joy...Pride...PASSION. If it isnt doin it for ya...why are you doin it? Have Fun, be silly, forget what others think. Get EXCITED about something and Own what you do. Thrill Seeking keeps the light eternal. Its like Job security for your Shiny eyes.

My eyes GLOW...and I know it. Its my GREATEST accomplishment. I found my ability to Breathe years ago thru self discovery. It allowed me to loose the weight and get fit. My Shiny Eyes keep it that way. My job is adequate and funds my lifestyle. I Love many and many Love me. And I will NEVER apologize for my 4 yr old Enthusiasm. 

And now, in my 40's, it's what allows me to make difficult changes in life, to forgive myself for hurting others, and to achieve any short term goals I put my sights on. Im good with that. I will only ever have one long term goal...to keep my pair of greens GLOWING forever. PS
