Wednesday 5/28/08 - 6 1/2 weeks to INBF Capital City Naturals

This morning was a wierd morning as I was distracted as hell.  I am stressing over finances and it always screws with my workouts.  I promised the wife I would take the trash can to the road and as I was warming up for squats, it occured to me that I did not get it done.  I ran home, ran back and started the workout.  As always when I am distracted the workout never goes well.  I tweaked my back ever so slightly on my second set of squats and had a “pinch” deep in my right butt cheek the rest of the workout.  I had to adjust accordingly, but I was still able to reach my goal of moving slightly heavier weight on most exercises.
Training: Legs

Squats - 335lbs 1×4, 1×5  - Last week 330lbs×5

Lunges 245lbs 1 x 5, 1×4 -  Last week 235 x 6, 240 x 6

Stiff Leg Dead lifts - 315lbs 2 x 6, 345lbs 1×3 - Last week 340lbs 2 x 5

Nutrition: All pre and post workout meal on time.  As per the theme of the day I forgot to bring my pumpkin with me this morning.  So I had a cap full of the Xocai Healthy Chocolate Syrup in its place.  It is the same amount of calories.  Then I had my pumpkin later on the day on top of my pancake.  It was yummy, filling and a nice change of pace.

12:45am - 6 BCAA 4500

4:30am - 1 Xocai Chocolate Power Square, 2 dymetadrine Extreme

5:15am - 1 Scoop VP2, 1/2 Scoop Creatine HSC, 2g Micronized Creatine, 5g GL3, 2 BetaX

6:55am - 1 Scoop VP2, 1/2 Scoop Creatine HSC, 2g Micronized Creatine

7:25am - 1 cup egg beaters, 2.1oz red potato

7:55am - NytroPro 40, 2 Caps Myo-D, 1 Cap CLA

9:55am - 1 Scoop VP2, 1/2 cap Xocai Healthy Chocolate Syrup, Splenda, Caffeine free tea

12:00pm - 1/2 cup trader joes nonfat greek yogurt, 1 scoop VP2

2:00pm - 5 oz brocolli, 5 oz chicken, Salsa, butter spray, black coffee

3:45pm - 1/2 Nytro Pro, 2 DX, Black Coffee, 1 CLA, 3 BCAA

5:25pm - Oatmeal pancake and 1/2 cup pure pumkin

7:15pm - 1 cup Trader Joes  Nonfat Cottage cheese

9:20pm - 5 oz Chicken, 5 oz brocolli, salsa, butter spray, 1 CLA, 2 Myo D, 1 Beta X, 5g GABA

Totals: Calories 1765 - 293g Pro - 149g carb - 14.5g fat - 24g fiber

Cardio - I did 4 sets of wind sprints with the Kettlebells.  I carried the 72lb kettlebells for all the sets, and did a farmers walk with the 72s for the first 2 sets, then see saw pressed the 44s for the second two.  My right butt cheek was pinching me a lot, but I just ran as hard as it would let me.  I followed up the workout with a 1/2 mile run at 6 degrees of incline at 6 mph.

Little Extras - I really needed to tan tonight, but my mind is every where but where it is supposed to be.  Could be the low carbs but I am an emotional roller coaster.  I went from dead asleep on the couch at 2:00pm to feeling like I could take on the world just before doing my cardio, then right back down to feeling like crap before Xanders Graduation, to practically crying when I saw him singing for every one an ad-lib song he was singing on the Kareoke machine.  It was precious.  Needless to say I forgot to tan.  However, I did manage to get some really good moistureizing oil on my skin after Xander and I got showered.  Weird day for sure.  I need to chill out!!
