Tuesday 6/3/08 - 5 1/2 Weeks to INBF Capital City Naturals

Todays workout was awesome.  I worked out with one of my very first training partners when I got into body building as my usual training partner hurt himself at work.  It was like wearing an old, comfortable shoe.  We both got a great workout, I met my goal of moving slightly heavier weight, and there was TONS of energy between us.  This is huge to be so close to my show, only 11 days to a show in Reno I am doing, and hit this kind of momentum.

Training:Biceps and Triceps

Reverse grip pull ups:  77.5lbs 1×8, 82lbs 1×5 reps: Last week 77.5lbs 1×8, 1×6

Barbell Curls: 135 1×6, 137.5 1×4: Last week 135lbs 1 x 5, 1 x 6

Triceps Cable Press downs: 137.5 1×5, 1×7: Last week 137.5lbs 1 x 6, 1 x 5

Supine Tricep Extension: 100lbs 2×6 : Last week 100lbs 2×6

Dumbbell kickbacks: 35lbs 1×11, Last week 30lbs 1 x 15

Dumbbell Preacher curls; 40lbs 1×15, Last week 35lbs 1  x 15

I got some sort of crazy energy going on my seconds set of press downs.  The first set was really tough and I only got about 5 reps.  THen the seconds set, got four great reps and was ready for four more.  Ron said it looked the same, but just was a very energetic set.  I need to try and make them all that way!!

Nutrition:  I was a little low on energy and a little grouchy last night, but other wise I handled the new cut faily well.  I think I would have been fine if it were not for the confrontation with the landlord.  Today is a new day though. 

3:20am - 6 BCAA 4500, 2 Myo D, 1 CLA

4:10am - 1 Xocai Chocolate Power Square, 2 dymetadrine Extreme

5:15am - 1 Scoop VP2, 1/2 Scoop Creatine HSC, 2g Micronized Creatine, 5g GL3, 2 BetaX

6:45am - 1 Scoop VP2, 1/2 Scoop Creatine HSC, 2g Micronized Creatine

7:15am - 1 cup egg beaters, 2.1oz red potato

7:45am - 1/2 NytroPro 40

9:45am - 1/2 cup pumpkin, 1 scoop VP2, 1 CLA, 2 Myo-D, 1g Beta Alainine, 5g Glutamine.

12:00pm - 1/2 Nytro Pro

1:30pm - 1/2 cup Trader Joes nonfat Greek Yogurt

3:30pm - Oatmeal Pancake, 1/3 cup pumpkin, 2 Dymetadrine Extreme, 1 CLA, 1 Beta X, 5g creatine, 6BCAA

5:15pm - 5oz chicken, 5oz brocolli, salsa, butter spray

7:15 pm - 1 cup Trader Joes nonfat Cottage Cheese

9:00pm - 5oz chicken, 5oz brocolli, salsa, butter spray

9:30pm - 5g GABA, 5g Creatine

Totals - Calories 1626, Prot 273, Carb 136, Fat 14

Cardio:  I modified my farmers walk/Kettlebell sprint to include 20 snatches with the 44lb Kettlebell.  I did 3 sets, then 100 turns with the jumprope, then 10 minutes on a upright bike.
