Sunday 5/18/08 - 8 weeks from INBF Capital City Naturals
Today is my last day off from all training as I head into the last two months of prep. From here on out it will be a new workout schedule 7 days a week with 5 double days and 2 Kettlebell days. I will be doing a ABA/INBA show in 4 weeks on June 14th in the North Lake Tahoe area. That show is only 4 weeks out and I only have 3 weeks of training available to me as the last week will be very little training as I manipulate my nutrients to get dried out and filled with glycogen.
Each week as I get closer and closer to the shows I will slowly lower my caloric intake as I simultaneously increase energy expenditure throughout the day with cardio and smallfrequent meals. I may even be eating as much as 14 times a day as the weeks progress. This week will be a big cut as I remove one scoop of VP2 from my 9:30am meal dropping my calories by 100 and my Protein intake by 24. I will start that tomorrow.
So as for today I will enjoy my last day off, go to church,get some work done, take it easy and enjoy the calm before the storm.
Nutrition: On Sundays I have not been training so I have not had my pre and post VP2/CreatineHSC/GL3 workout shakes. I simply start the day with what is usually my 3rd meal.
6:30am - 4 egg whites, 2.1oz red potato, Xocai Chocolate Power Square, Black Coffee
7:30am - 1/2 cup Trader Joes nonfat Greek yogurt, 1scoop VP2, 1TBLS Dark Cocoa
9:30am - Oatmeal Pancake (1/4 cup oats, 4 egg whites, 1TBLS Dark Cocoa)
11:00am - 2 Scoops VP2, Tea with Creamer, Xocai Chocolate Power Square
1:15pm - Low carb wrap, 2.5 oz chicken, Lettuce and Mustard
4:00pm - Nytro Pro 40, black coffee
6:00pm - 1 cup Trader Joes Nonfat Cottage Cheese, 1/2 scoop VP2
7:45pm - 1/2 Nytro Pro
9:15pm - 1 large carrott, 1 head raw broccoli, 3 oz chicken, large bowl CA Blend Veggies, Salsa and butter Spray.
Daily Totals: 297g Pro - 124.5g carbs - 17g fat - 1533 Cals
Again I was on call so I saved a little extra chicken in case I got called in. I did not get called until 3:30am so I justed started my next day.
Training: I happened to have a 26lb Kettlebell at the house so I decided to do a light workout.
Snatch - 150 reps
Four Play - 20 reps
Figure 8 and Hold - 20 reps
Bottoms up press - 10 reps
Side Press - 10 reps
