Monday 5/26/08 - 7 weeks to INBF Capital City Naturals

Happy Memorial Day!!  It is a slow day at the gym today.  No partner this morning as we scheduled our day off for today.  I came in at my usual time and did Calves, Forearms and Traps.  I needed a little extra boost today.  I woke up stressing over finances.  I tend to get that way some times when big bills are looming.  I got on a treadmill and listened to some of my favorite Daughtry songs on my IPOD and ran for a good 5 minutes before I worked out.  It helped a lot.

Training: Traps, Calves and Forearms

Calf Press - 470lbs 1 x 12, 560, 2 x 10

Dumbbell Forearm curls - 55lbs 1 x 8, 1 x 5, 50lbs 1 x 6

Dumbbell Shrugs - 100lbs 3 x 12

Toe Raises on Smith bar - 320lbs x 12, 370lbs x 10

Barbell Forearm Curls - 89lbs x 12, 89lbs x 8 

Nutrition: All pre and post workout meals on time.  This week I will be eliminating 70 calories in the form of my low carb wrap.  I am also going to be measuring my vegetables a little more closely.  I usually just eat as much as I want and count it as 35 calories.  These next few weeks I will be measuring them out a little closer to accurate as I am only 3 weeks out from the Reno INBA show and am getting down to the nitty gritty with the big INBF show.

4:00am - 6 BCAA 4500, 1 Xocai Chocolate Power Square, 2 dymetadrine Extreme

5:30am - 1 Scoop VP2, 1/2 Scoop Creatine HSC, 5g GL3, 2 BetaX

6:40am - 1 Scoop VP2, 1/2 Scoop Creatine HSC,

7:10am - 1 cup egg beaters, 2.1oz red potato

7:40 am - NytroPro 40, 2 Caps Myo-D, 1 Cap CLA

9:30am - 1 Scoop VP2, 1/2 cup pure pumpkin with Splenda, 2g Beta Alanine

11:00am - 5oz Raw Brocolli and mushrooms, Salsa, Butter Spray, 5 oz Chicken.

1:00pm - 1/2 Nytro Pro, 1 CLA, 2 Beta X

3:00pm - Oatmeal Pancake, 1/2 cap Xocai Healthy Chocolate Syrup, 6 BCAA

5:00pm - 1/2 cup Trader Joes Nonfat Greek Yogurt, 1 scoop VP2, Black Coffee, 2 DX

7:15pm - 1 cup Trader Joes Nonfat Cottage Cheese

9:00pm - 5oz Broccoli, 5oz Chicken, Salsa, Butter Spray, 2 MyoD, 1 CLA, 3g GABA

Totals: Calories 1759 - 293g Pro - 147.5g carb - 14.5g fat - 24g fiber

Cardio:  Time to start getting serious.  No more days off and double days every day.  Weights or Kettlebell workouts in the morning, and cardio, step, or kettlebell workouts in the evening!! This evening I taught a step aerobics class to a couple of well establsihed clients who are in good shape.  I was able to make the class a little harder than usual and I got a good workout as well.  I had to hurry home as soon as I got done though because I left my cottage cheese in the fridge.

Extras:  I was able to put on moisturizing lotion twice today.  I also polished off nearly 3 gallons of water today.
