Trying to get into shape
I've been trying to get into shape the last past months. I've tripped and failed in so many ways.. before I know I'm stuffing myself with chocolate and unhealthy food. But I always try to get on my feet again every single time. I think that that is the biggest change, my attitude.. I always get on my feet again and I keep on running towards my goals.. I only get there later than I want to
If only I could let the chocolate go.. I'm such a chocoholic!!
I know I would be in better shape if I only could find some dicipline and be focused on my diet!! But I hang in there in some hope that I will get the motivation and inspiration one day
THis site and all the inspiration stories help me a lot!!! Thank you all!
Good morning, my name is Al and I'm a Chocoholic. Should we start a new bodygroup? A 12-step program called Chocoholics Anonymous?.....LOL.
....
As long as you keep at it, get back up and dust off after diet stumbles, and slowly take control of the cravings/binges, you'll be good.

NO ONE nails this game perfect from the get go...I struggled for a very long time before figuring it out (mostly). And those tough days still happen. But the key to success was as you say, getting back on your feet. Take each day as a new opportunity. Eyes forward and go for it! :)PS
I have 1-2 pieces of Dove's dark chocolate everyday...there's just some things in life you need to keep!!! Plus dark chocolate is good for you. Have a great day girl!
I have seen your progress pictures and you are not in bad shape now. If you are a Chocoholic then we need to know how much you eat a day because you do not show it. You ask any person out here that has in some form lost weight or got fit and they will tell you the main key to success is to get your mind right. If you try to go into this with an out of focus mind you will fail. I am a sucker for jelly beans but I have not had one is a few months now. I use to eat them nightly but not anymore. I did this because if I can tell myself that it is ok to eat jelly beans then I can tell myself it is ok to eat anything and believe it. I do not compete and there really is no reason for me not to eat them but I choose not to. That is the key word. "Choose". No one out here can force you to do anything. It is your choice. If you choose to be a Chocoholic then that is your choice. You are only cheating yourself. That is the bottom line. Get your mind right and your body will follow. How bad do you want it?
Thank you all for the motivation!! :) You are all together great! I will try to get my head straight and my mind right! I want it so badly to get into good shape and see some sixpack or some!
Hugs to you all!! :)
Really impressed with your attitude. You have figured it out. You will slip up and binge on some chocolate, especially the more you put your body through. It happens to us all. You just have to know that you can't give up. Only have so much a night. Cut back how much you do have. The cravings will slowly just go away. If you just can't give up the chocolate then just adjust your diet around it. I believe in dieting and staying healthy, although, I also believe we all have problems with certain aspects of eating right. This is a lifelong commitment. You just have to know that you will get back up and kick it in the ass tomorrow if you slip up today. Adjust your diet to what works for you and live an overall healthier lifestyle. Don't just jack up your cortisol stressing endlessly about it all night because you are not competing tomorrow and probably did less damage than you think anyway. Just smile and know that this lifestyle is forever. Make it work for YOU!!
Just my two cents...
