Can’t believe how long it’s been since I was on here… but I really do need to get back on it.
I’ve been bad, not lifting or running, been back on the booze and smoking! OMG the shame, going to sort this out once and for all. Cant wait to get myself into the best shape of my life.
Look out, I’m coming back with a vengence!

So I’ve been bad - havent lifted weights in ages and only occasionally managing to squeeze in the odd bit of kickboxing over the last month
So it’s hardly surprising that the fat is creeping back… oh and I’ve been eating enough fat on a daily basis to make me feel like my arteries are harding with each mouthful! Believe it or not I havent completely neglected myself by doing this, but I’ve lost my way as my training schedule bores me and I’m trying to find a new one to fit my new work hours etc.
The one thing I have noticed is that even though I’ve just put on a couple of extra lbs being a shorty at 4foot11in it looks more like 7lbs… does fat show up more on shorties? If that’s the case I need to be even more careful as the slightest increase in fat is going to make me miserable - better get my arse into gear!

So I wasnt good last week, in fact I did nothing but cheat on my eating an training front. I was determined to get back on track but again the s hit the f and life took over.
This week is going to be better, I’m determined to get myself back on track. There is no way in hell I am going to watch those bloody scales creep up week after week and undo all those months of hard work, sweat and on occasion tears!
In this vein yesterday I got my arse back on the treadmill and got going. My plan is to just make sure I keep moving as much as possible to get rid of the couple of extra lbs of fat that have already crept on; and to clean up my diet slowly again. I’ve just got to be consistent - simple really.
TRAINING LOG
30 mins treadmill, average 150bpm
50 mins toning and stretching
FOOD LOG
9.30 2 chelsea buns, with butter, coke zero, 3 cytolean, 1 omega 3,6,9, 1 cla, 1 multivitamin
12.00 egg fried rice, tamari, mint tea, crackers, rhubarb and custard
2.00 2 cytolean, water
4.00 2 slices wholemeal toast with cheese, coke zero, 2 plums, 1 pack of mini crackers
8.00 thai green curry, coke zero, tea

So I cant really complain that I’ve put fat on this week as I had a whole week of cheating. Loads of stress at work and at home meant I eventually resigned from work because I just couldnt take it anymore.
So long story short… I’ve been inhaling chocolate, coca-cola, crisps etc all week plus I got sick and have been lying in bed with a stinking cold… and the amount of weight I put on is just 1lb.
That’s pretty impressive, I did a couple of cardio sessions this week, but no weight training which makes me feel ridiculously guilty… Anyway, that’s not bad is it just 1lb on!!!!
Will definitely being saying bye bye to that lb next week

I can honestly say this has been one of the most STRESSFUL weeks ever! I’ve been so ridiculously busy all week that I’ve been lucky to get my meals in. Then to top it all off, I had major issues at work, and the only way I could stand it anymore was to quit.
So I did! I’ve jacked in my job, and am now officially jobless - and terrified! I spent hours on my own sat in a meeting room waiting for 8 people to decide whether they were going to accept my resignation and whether I was entitled to any money (ignorant b*stards)… just to set the record straight, I was working for a major global company and my request was a fair one (especially considering the amount of money they make, and the demands I could have made considering the way I was treated).
Anyway, once the mental torture was over - and they still hadnt decided what to do with me I was sent home, until further notice.
I have been soooo stressed, I dont know whether I am expected to go back or not; I wont know until someone, somewhere decides. Once I did finally get home, I pretty much collapsed and have been sick ever since.
I want to train, but dont think it’s wise given I feel absolutely horrendous… hope this anguish is over soon, so I can just get on with my life!!!

Easter means chocolate in my house, and boy did we eat chocolate. I know a cheat is meant to be good but I just cant help but feel incredibly guilty eating such an obscene amount of calories. I’m actually considering doing twice as much cardio and cutting out the weights for a while to try and compensate. Not sure that’s a particularly good idea though as I’ve been building muscle over the last 3 months.
Training Log
30 mins average 150 bpm
Food Log
7.00 bran flakes, 1 mini butterscotch chocolate bar, 3 cytolean, 1 cla, 1 mulitvitamin, 1 omega 3,6,9
11.00 chicken fajita, 2 cytolean, ribena
3.00 chicken stay, rice, vegetables, ribena, chocolate easter egg…. in fact a ridiculous amount of chocolate today, probably about an extra days worth of calories in one sitting - bad, bad, bad….

This has not been a good week for me. Which is a really frustrating vicious circle I’m desperate to get out of. First off, I absolutely do not have the time to train. We’re talking about getting up early to get into work, working through my lunchtime. When I finally get home, I have to do more work! By the time I’m done, it’s time for bed.
Then because it’s Easter my partner bought me the most amazingly expensive chocolate Easter egg – I couldn’t resist it, it’s beautiful and I’ve been inhaling it all week… lol
I’m going to have to work so bloody hard to stop the calories from piling on though, so I’ve been trying to get him to eat it so I don’t… I’m so close to losing my first stone in weight, and if I do I promised myself either a new pda or designer handbag as a reward …. I really want that handbag next week

As I’m not able to train as much as I need, I’ve decided to up the dose on the cytolean and hope I can still lose a little weight each week. I had such great results with cytolean the first week, fingers crossed it can keep delivering the results – despite my own tardiness…
Did finally manage to get some training in today, which felt good. Trying out a new routine and testing out how much weight I can manage; and maintaining good form.

Today turned into a cheat day again, this is really beginning to bug me now. I’ve been so good on the food front for the best part of 3 months, but a switch seems to have clicked in me; and every week I’m getting silly cravings.
Think I really need to take a good look at my diet again, and refocus otherwise, my weight is just going to keep yo-yoing which everyone knows is nothing but a bad thing.
My biggest problem at the moment is that my free time is no longer free – work is sucking up any free time I have so I cant train as frequently as I need to. I also cant plan for when I’m going to be free – so for now I’m just winging the entire training thing and hoping my minimal control over my current diet will not sabotage my 3 months of previous hard work.
Today is also weights and measures day, needless to say I was not happy that I’d put on 2lbs of the 3lbs I’d lost last week… really have got to focus this week.
Cheat day – no training
10.30 2 egg whites, 1 whole egg scrambled, wholemeal pita bread, ribena, 2 cytolean, 1 glucosamine
1.30 onwards southern fried chicken and potato wedges, paprika crisps, 2 diet cokes, 4 brazils, chocolate cake with cream, beef stew and bread, 2 ribena, 1 cytolean, liquorice

So today we were meant to try out a new gym, but on the way there we both decided we weren’t really feeling it. Not a great thing to admit, and I’m not particularly proud, but sometimes sh*t happens… Ended up going shopping instead, but definitely plan on working out in that new gym sometime soon.
Ok, ok, the guilt kicked in and I squeezed in some cardio when I got home and managed 30 mins treadmill, average 140 bpm. Better than sitting on my arse moaning J
7.00 3 egg whites, wholemeal pita, ribena, 2 cytolean
10.30 banana
1.00 chicken tama, rice, water
4.00 salt and vinegar rice cakes, 2 handfuls yogurt coated nuts, coke zero
7.00 steak and jacket potato, probiotic yogurt, coke zero, ribena
9.15 sweet potato soup, ciabatta bread, 3 dried apricots, 1 omega 3,6,9, 1 multivitamin.
