I have a headcold courtesy of a flight from LA to NYC. Actually decided to take a red eye to ensure I could get a workout in because I was feeling guily. I stayed at the Hilton in Universal City, which had a crummy lil gym, made up of dbells and one cable apparatus. Yeeesh crapppy!
That was last week, today, even with a snothead, decided I needed to hit it. I did quadzilla, (see earlier post, high reps heavy leg press), leg extensions, sumo squats (thanks superstar!) and finally 2 calf moves. Weights were good for me and got a good session in.
Actually don’t know what week this is of non smoking! I have lost the count. I am definately over the worst of it and find it hard to beleive it took me this long to quit. As of december 8 I was 15 months liquor free and 3 months smoke free. I feel free.
I am a lil concerned about the weight gain. Most is muscle (i keep telling myself this) but my waist is up about 1.5" from a couple of months ago. I’m eating clean, just eating alot. I will cut back on cals if i add more to the belt line. I just want to be finished with the smokes first and address the weight second.
