I am really happy to report that my new training program is working, and the increase in strength I am achieving feels awesome. I work each muscle group once a week and the majority of exercises I do, increases in weight lifted around 10-20 lbs. Previously I only increased around 5 pounds per workout. Because of the gains, I am really getting motivated all over again and it feels great!

For approximately the last 4 months I have been working out with the 3-Day Full Body workout and although it was previously working for strength gains, my progress has stopped. I am now going to change my workout program and try the "Maximum Overload Training Program" that I found on this site. Hopefully this program will take over where the other one left off. It sounds really good according to the article and since I have read that occasionally you need to change workouts, I will give it a try! If I see good progress I will update my body blog and list the increases in strength and muscle size.

On August 6th I started taking Hot-Rox to aid me in my fat loss. A few days ago, I measured my waist and have noticed that I have lost 1/4". I have not been doing very much cardio work lately so my loss is not that bad by only using a good diet, supplements and weight lifting. I am now going to increase my cardio workout so I can see even better results.

For the last month I have only been working out twice a week. Each time I workout I consistently increase the weight I lifted during the last workout by 5-10 pounds. My workout includes 3 different exercises for the chest, shoulders, back, legs and abs. The bad thing is that the lifting stats don’t take into consideration, that I do 3 sets of 10-20 reps per exercise. That would definitely make my 1 rep maximum much higher. I guess the only thing that really matters is that I am definitely getting stronger with each and every workout! The one thing that really bothers me is that it seems like the muscles are not getting any bigger. I really wish that my muscle mass would increase so that it would give me even more motivation!

I recently started taking Hot-Rox Fat Burner and I am definetly seeing results. Through dieting I was slowly losing bodyfat but after eating dinner, my stomach would bulge out a little bit, compare to when my stomach was empty. I have noticed that most of the bodyfat around my stomach is gone. It really makes me happy to see that I am finally making progress! I’ve been taking only half the recommended dosage. I just increased to the recommended dosage so I know I will see even better results. I only started taking this supplement on August 6th. I’ll keep updating this as I continue to see more results.

Recently I added the Man Vaporize Fat Burner and didn’t really notice any difference in loss of body fat. Man Vaporize is a non-stimulant supplement so I wasn’t sure just how well it would work. I decided to check the Bodybuilding store looking for something that might be stronger for fat loss. I noticed that the Biotest Company had a product called Hot-Rox which I have seen in the past on the website. Hot-Rox is in the Top 5 most popular thermogenic fat loss supplements and it is sold at a very reasonable price. I can definitely feel the thermogenic and stimulant properties of this product. It is too early to see any differences because I only started using it a few days ago. I am hoping that with my diet and working out, that I will be able to go from around 14% to around 10% body fat! My goal is to drop enough body fat to aid in the forming of the six-pack abs that I have always wanted! If I do start getting closer to my body fat goal, I will definitely update my body blog so that maybe it will help others. I’m hoping for the best results possible!

Well, I did my 2nd workout since my layoff! It feels really great to be back on the weights, and I have changed from the split workout to the Full Body Workout. My full body workout consists of 3 sets of 3 different exercises each, covering the chest, shoulders, back, arms, legs and abs. I do from 10-15 reps depending on the exercise, and plan to do this 3 times a week. The muscles are sore and it feels good to resume the steps needed towards achieving my goals! The pride I take in my body is back and I hope that I can stay motivated to keep going!!

In my previous blog post, I mentioned that I was really in a slump and could not motivate myself to go to the gym to workout for over two months. I told myself on many evenings that tomorrow I really need to get myself back into the gym, but the next day, I always was able to come up with some kind of excuse not to go!
Well I am now proud to say that today I finally was able to overcome the low I was in and get back into the gym again!!!! I must admit that mentally it felt really great inside to get back the motivation that had been missing for a while! I have so many goals that I wanted to meet and now I think I can finally begin where I left off! It is sort of a bummer that I have to begin again with less weight than before, but I’m sure it will increase back to where I used to be in no time.
It feels so great to get out of the rut and feel good about myself again! Hopefully I will be able to stay out of the rut and achieve some of the goals I had set for myself!!

Unfortunately for the last month and a half, I have lost the motivation to train at the gym. Health problems have taken the drive I had out of me for full workouts. I have however tried to workout at home at least two days a week. The workouts include dumbell curls, Barbell plate raises, shrugs, leg lifts, crunches, tricep dips, a little bit of cardio and between 800-1,000 push ups per workout. There are many times that I tell myself that tomorrow I definetly need to go the gym, but flake out the next day! I am trying to motivate myself again and hopefully will be able to take the first step to continue with my full workouts. It really disappoints me because I still would like to achieve the goals that I set for myself for bodybuilding.

Since I started using the 100% Casein Protein, I have gained a few pounds of bodyweight and also began to lose some bodyfat! I know the Casein is the reason! Since I started lifting again, I was not losing any bodyfat and was stuck at 15% for quite a while. Its only been about 2 weeks on Casein and I am seeing the results already! I am using a mixture of 100% Whey, 100% Casein protein and Creatine in my shakes. It seems to be working for me, so I’ll keep doing it and will keep you up to date on the progress!
