I Want To Look Like That!!!
Monday, March 24th, 2008I have developed a new appreciation for all the people out there with ripped bodies, six packs, and body fat of 12,11,10% or sometimes even less. I have been lifting and doing cardio seriously now for approx. 4 months(on and off for last 5 yrs.). By seriously, I mean lifting 4 days a week with 20 mins of cardio and two days of cardio of 45-60 mins. Since Dec 1,2007 I’ve dropped 12lbs and seen moderate results in muscle tone.
I am an avid reader of fitness mags such as Flex, MuscleMag, Muscle & Firtness and I often look at the people in these mags and on this site and think, I will look like that. I realized there would be hard work involved however I think I’ve been a little niave about the sacrafices I would have to make in my diet. As mush as I can say I ‘ve put in an honest effort at the gym i can’t really say the same for my eating. I am a picky eater to begin with so I find the nutrition element very challenging however i will keep at it. Lately i find myself trying foods that i would’t have touched before all in the pursuit of a great looking body.
Anyway, I am writing this blog to acknowledge all the hard work and discipline that so many of you on this site exercise everyday(or most every day anyway). Keep up the great work because although you do it for yourselves you are a great motivation to people like myself who aren’t quite there yet!
