So most of my friends know I’m into workout and nutrition…. A couple of them have come to me on numerous occasions asking me what they should do in order to get big and strong. When I start talking about nutrition, I can see it in their eyes. They’re gone… Not long after that they’ll divert me back to the topic of training….
Yah… you have to train, hard. We all know it’s important…. However, Nutrition is more important. I’ve known people who have started training and 2 months into it they quit. Mainly b/c they aren’t seeing enough results. Little to their knowledge this is a direct coloration to their diet. Simply put, If you don’t eat to grow you won’t.
It’s not rocket science… If you eat like a 140lb man…. You’re eventually going to be a 140lb man. Doesn’t matter how much Cel-Tech or NO-Xplode you take… Same goes for if your over weight.
"Well man what if I add this *insert brand* weight gainer?" or "What about this new sh*t from *insert brand*"
I don’t give a rat’s ass what new supplement your taking, it’s probably going to do less for you than some chicken breast and rice will… People have to realize that the best supplements are in the grocery stores not at GNC.
So what’s the solution you ask? Go calculate your BMI, multiply it by your activity level (normally 1.6 for lifters), and eat more than that!
And do it w/ clean foods!
Chicken
Veggies
Eggs
Nuts
Milk
Beef
Cottage Cheese
Rice
Fish
Almond Butter
Fruits
Oats
Whey Protein

So today I had the opportunity to watch the documentary "Bigger Stronger Faster." In a nut shell it’s about steroid use, and how it’s not really as bad as our politicians say it is. I must say it was one of the better documentary I’ve seen, and I think just about everyone should get their hands on it and watch it.
The way I see it is that steroids are just like weed. It’s just another drug that has been put on our nations "taboo list" and banded from legal use. Are there really any scientiffic reasons why it shouln’t be leagal??? The answer is no. I think the easiest way to put it in perspective is to compair it to Alcohol and cigerrets… which are the causes of hundreds of thousands deaths a year in America. How many deaths did anabolic steroids cause last year you may ask?? The answer is 3….
Here is my conclusion! I think it all comes down to money… Somehow the powers that be decided that they could easily tax and make money off of alcohol and cigerettes…. It’s harder to do that with Marijuana. Especially since independants can easily grow weed in their back yard. As far a steroids go they are sold…. a lot. There are all kinds of loop holes out there that alows people to get their hands on steroids leagely. However it’s a lot cheaper to get steroids illegaly… so guess what most people do…
It’s an F**ked up system I guess.

So I’ve been on the warrior diet for about 13 weeks now. For those of you who don’t know the WD is basically Intermittent fasting. The core of the diet is eating once a day after working out. These short controlled fasts increase your metabolism and act as a daily detoxification.
I’ve kept very good records of my weight and body fat % over the last 13 weeks I’ve been on this diet. From what I’ve seen this diet is a great for maintaining one’s weight. My overall weight and bf% hasn’t changed much since I’ve been on the diet. I will say that my one "meal" a day is very large, which explains this. What I like the most about this diet is that it’s very easy to follow. I don’t need to carry little meals around with me to eat every 3 hours. However, I will be switching to a 6 meal a day program when I start bulking.
This diet is also very good for individuals who are over weight. I’ve seen good results with people who started this diet overweight.

I was recently referred to www.trueprotien.com by a friend, and let me tell you I’m happy I was. I normally buy whey in bulk. The largest I could find for a decent price online was around 10lbs. TP.com sells a high quality whey in 25lb adn 50lb bags. They also allow you to edit your supplements (You can build just about anything).
I’ve also gotten a chance to try out their pre-workout suppliment "Buzz Saw." I’m givin it a 7/10 over all and a 3/10 for taste (limeaid). I’ve gotten good energy and pumps from it. I find that it’s a more "controled" energy than No-explode and SP250.

Ps: FYI: I don’t work for them… lol, Just like their stuff.

Wells lets get started. First a little history. I’ve been lifting for about 3 or so years now. Unfortunately I didn’t know much during my first year, which resulted in mediocre gains. I started off as a complete stick at around 145-155. Last summer I bulked up to 200. I’m now in the process of cutting (Around 176 now at 9.5%bf). Trying to get a low body fat % and then start another bulk. My next bulk is going to last at least a year. (I can’t wait)
