Tomorrow I will be getting a new gym membership. I believe this one will work better for me because I have a strange work schedule. I’ll be joining Anytime Fitness, which is right next door to my work, and it’s open 24/7. The other gym I had initially joined, and never went to, was open 5am - 9pm. I work from noon - 11pm, so I’m not much for waking up early. This is going to work!!! This has to work!!!

It begins now!!!

It’s been almost 2 years since my last post. I think that the first step in making a change is admitting and proving it to yourself. Also realizing that you’re a ****ing slacker! LOL! Well… I have reached that point. Things are changing for the good in my life! And one change that was need was for me to stop smoking. So far… so good! I have been smoke free for almost a month now. I’m not going to fool myself and say I am out of the tempting grasp of the infamous cancer stick! What I am saying is that I am actively working on a goal that is going to create a domino effect. One day at a time! ;)

Cardio & Endurance 2!!!

OK!…. So I was supposed to start training in August. Didn’t happen! I ended up putting it off for a couple of months. I know….. I’m not going to get anywhere if I let things in my life get in the way. My bad! Well I’m back on track! Finally! Two weekends ago my girlfriend and I got a membership at the local rec center. I’ve been working out at least 3 days a week and gradually increasing. As for the cardio & endurance training…….. well… let’s just say it’s easier for me to realize now that I am no longer 16. But…. and there’s always a big "BUT"…. I’m not giving up. I want to be healthy again. I want to feel and look great. And I’m not giving up on that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cardio and Endurance!!!

I will begin my training on 08/13/07 with an old soccer tryout regimine for cardio and endurance. It will consist of 5 reps of 50 yard shuttle runs and will end with an 8 minute or less mile. If it doesn’t kill me the result should be pretty nice. I’ll post my results around 08/27/07. I’ll also be posting before and after pics. Wish me luck!!!
