The season of fall is upon us, my favorite time of year. The leaves will be bringing fourth there true colors of red, yellow and orange, it is if the forest is alive with fire and light. The wildlife is moving around with purpose and preperation for the season to come. For us, the air is clean and fresh and invigorates the soul while out on a morning run. Not a drop of sweat in sight. This morniing two deer crossed my path, stopped and looked at me coming, they didn’t even say good morning. They stared and then leaped from sight, maybe thinking "run with me boy", to run like a deer, fearing no obsticles, what life, what energy!
I still have some spring in my step, and a little autumn in my hair, with many summers behind me, I look forward to winter wanting for spring. I will become stronger and better in all things. But for today I will enjoy the change of season. God Bless and be strong.

If you like cool morning runs and a night sky filled with wishing stars, pleasent days and good people. Maine has to be the place for you. I went to the beach this morn and watched the sun rise with not a soul in sight. I thought that i may be the first person in America to welcome the sun today. I sent out a prayer for all those whom the sun will pass over today. So, this means you.
Have a great day, Be strong and love life.

Let everyman prove his own work, as it says in the book of Galations.
Proving oneself and improving oneself is a condition of constant work. The effort put in at the gym and at work makes a person who they are. Others notice by your constant behavior who they can trust and count on. So, don’t be surprized if you are a constant force, people will seek your advise and try in their own way to imitate your behaviors. This is a natural reaction to being near greatness. YOU ARE GREAT ! You will be noticed. Be strong and do good.

Making progress is like watching your children grow, little tick marks on the wall. It is hard to see as you are with them always, but look back at july of last year or even sooner, growth has happened, amazing! Keeping track of your progress with pictures and charts are our little tick marks on the wall. Have faith and stick to it, and progress will be evident, 1 Tim: Ch. 6 v. 6 " Contentment is great gain."
Yours, Jeff the Harbormaster.

I was turning the pages of a scripture given to me. From a friend who was very dear to me. He said "Read this and let it guide your feet, and share it with all the friends you meet." I found a rose petal between the pages on a verse so sweet it said, " speak truth in love, fight the good fight, follow after goodlines, faith and love, patience and meekness." I think of this man who has now passed from sight, I think and wonder how he could be so right. To share with me the book to guide my feet. I sit and wonder of the friends I will meet.
