Here we go!!!

Ok, yesterday began my first visit back to the gym since reovering from pneumonia.  It was tough missing my first competition after the hard training but hey, at least I am ok.  I’m revving it up for next season, which is really only a few months away.   I hope some of you can join the journey with me as I start my program for next year and provide advice, motivation, critique (good or bad), whatever you want to say.  Because God Bless it, I ate so much tilapia I almost turned into one just so I could end up in the emergency room.  :(    Anyway, tomorrow I will post what I am doing exercise wise for this week, as well as diet. Just be easy on me….at least for a day.  :)

Typically I work out Mon- Fri with weekends off but my body is still sore I took today off. Sat and Sun I will dance in the house for cardio…trust me, I get a workout!….as well as pushups w/ pushup bars and ab work with my medicine ball. Will eat pretty clean as well since I do not start cardio 5 days a week again until the week after next. I will measure bodyparts and post on Tuesday. Maybe have some new pics taken and posted but I hate the fact that I have no tan right now so I look horrible. Anyway, til next week, anyone who sees this, have a great weekend.

I know I owe some information on my blog but Thanskgiving and migraines have slowed me a bit down. I was good over Thanksgiving, had good food but did not overdue it. Part of that is because my stomach is trained to adhere to smaller proportions. Right now I am not calculating calories, protein, carbs and fat but rather estimating nad going with what feels right, and sticking to the mas building recommendations. I plan to compete in the May timeframe so I will start prepping in February depending on how much work I think I need to do.

sorry I haven’t kept up in awhile. did you compete this last season?

Hey Viper, no I did not. I got pneumonia a week prior to my first compeition. For those out there who read this, I have been out of the loop for awhile. I am getting back on track now so any and all encouragement would be great. I have tendinosis in my right shoulder which is also causing neck pain.I have my work cut out for me as far as working out in spite of pain but I want to be able to cmopete next Spring. Maybe this fall but if the Docs do sugery, I need to wait. I hope everyone out there is doing well and training well. :)

I hope everything is starting to get back on track for you. I have been away from the gym scene myself for a while due to moving and starting a new job and always the medicial stuff that slow’s one down for awhile. So how does it feel to be getting back to the gym? I know it will take a little while but as long as you stay with it the results will always be worth it.
