I am reaching low BF percentages, I have never been at before, and I have to let all that are striving for the same goal to stop immediately. I am starting to lose my a$$. Being a black man, I pride myself on two body parts, and my a$$ being one of them, I have to stop cutting for my a$$ sake.

I always knew I had the potential to obtain a totally lean body. I just never had the discipline. Now, I bike to work, lift at least five days a week, and I do some type of cardio on Saturday. Write your dreams down boys and girls and you will accomplish your goals too.
Peace

At 196lbs I accomplished my goal of obtaining 8%BF. What is the best way for me to describe how I feel…. I thought it would be a little more cut. Don’t get me wrong. I love the way I look and feel. It’s just that I chose 8% BF because from my research, I found that a BF level 7% and below, would be detrimental to my health. I see that is from the recommendation of the ultra conservatives. Therefore, I will continue to strive for lower body fat composition. The initial plan was to get to 8%, then gain 2lbs of LBM a month. A previous test group was able to gain 9 lb of LBM and lose 4 lbs of BF in 8 weeks. Over the next 4 weeks, I plan to lose an additional 4lbs and gain 4lbs of LBM. Essentially, my body weight would remain constant, but I will look more shredded.
In all honesty, adding 4lbs of LBM is easy. Since I cut creatine out of my regime a few weeks ago, my muscle would fill up with 4lbs of water and other glycogen stores due to the fact that I have been on a restricted calorie diet. I could very well, gain 8lbs just like the test group.
I would look shredded though….

I did a muy thai class on Saturday. It was a great way for me to express my testosterone. Though, I think it might be counter productive to building muscle or even maintaining muscle. What do you think?

I accomplished my goal a whole week early. This is not a good thing. The first thing I noticed, is that I did not eat enough. I went to sleep earlier too, so I missed a couple of feedings. Another thing is, I stopped using creatine yesterday. I was only using 1g of esterfied creatine on work out days; I don’t think that was a lot. Most might say, why are you trippin’. Well, I only wanted to lose body fat. My lean body mass is precious. Oh well. Life goes on. 10 or 15 more lbs on BF to go. Trying to achieve 8%BF. I think that will happen around 185 to 190, then it will be time to add 1 solid lbs of muscle a month, then move to 2 lbs a month. The first month of adding LBM will be interesting….

I guess this goes along with the saying, what doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger. But, I like my version better. I used to hate squats and never did them. I have been doing them now for the last few months and my strength is going through the roof. Today, for the first time in my life I did lunges. I always said, lunges are for ladies. Well, call me Sheila, and my legs are sore. So, I came up with the conclusion that, What you hate will make you stronger. I also hate doing skull crushers and rarely do flies. These will be a staple of my work outs from now on. Good luck to you all, and face your fears, and make them your assets.

I am accomplishing my weekly goals. Add them all up and I will have lost a total of 25 lbs. …..
I paused there for a moment, because 1. I never thought I would have to lose that much weight, and 2. I found myself watching the Biggest Loser the other day, and it seems that most have a problem adjusting with society. I say that because, while on the farm, the contestants lose mass amount of weight. Then they go home, and they are cheered and applauded, then some go back to their old lifestyle (overeating).
I thank everyone here at BB.com for helping me stay on track.
