Pissed and frustrated!!!!!

Okay I ran over 14 miles in the past 3 days, took out two snacks and replaced one with an apple and my weight is still not budging.  This is seriously starting to piss me off and I’m considering quitting if something doesn’t happen.  I’m killing myself in the gym.  WTF!!!!  This is sooooooo damn frustrating.  I’m going to talk to my trainer tonight to find out what the hell is going on.  I lost inches but my weight has stayed the same for the past 4 weeks and my bodyfat went up to 23%.  There is no way I’m going to be ready in 7 weeks for this show.  I’m seriously pissed off right now.  I feel like eating a huge slice of pizza to teach my fat ass a lesson!  Pissed and frustrated!!!!!!!

    Jenny,
I feel your frustration, don’t quit. I’m sure there are quite a few of us on this site that have or will experience the situation you are currently in. It is difficult when we don’t get the visible results we expect. How do you feel??? Health and fitness isn’t just about how we look. Do you feel good and do you feel better than before you changed your life style? We are all genetically different and physical transition varies. One person does a set of curls and their biceps peak and bulge. I (my perspective) work my butt off and check my double bicep pose :-) . I may not be the picture of muscularity, but Lord knows I feel and look 100% better than before I decided to live healthy. I know this response will not win any contest, but feeling good and living happy is worth its weight in gold. Hang in there my friend your body will respond if you are persistent.

Don’t give up!!!! It will happen. Talk to your trainer. I know I’m just back on the wagon. But, in the past (had lost 50lbs), I had to constantly remind myself to drink enough water and eat enough food. The times I killed myself in the gym, but didn’t eat enough, my weight went nowhere. Once I started eating MORE (good food, of course), the pounds started coming off again. Strange, but true. My sister used to eat natural peanutbutter on wheat toast and half a grapefruit for breakfast with a cup of coffee. I can’t stomach it. But, that got her system in check really quickly.

I think you’re freaky out for no reason. I checked out your progress pics and you can definitely see vast improvement from just 4 weeks ago. Scales don’t always tell the whole story. Stick with it, if you still have plenty of time left. If you can improve that much in 4 weeks, you will look great in 7. Just stick with it.
