Training 9/25

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007

Well yesterday was a shoulder day, did about 18 total sets, today was back and triceps.  Love working those muscles. a girl i am seeing told me the other day " Wow, ive always liked the looks of the trcieps." I replied, what a horseshoe? She thought the triceps was just the half on the outside of the arm.  When i flexed, her eyes got hughe and she was like. your arms are crazy!.  Thats a great feeling.

Bought a new car yesterday, well. new to me.  I was driving a truck, but the payment, gas, insurance, etc. it really kicked my butt. 

I am so glad football season is here. Watching my USC trojans light up the scoreboard against basically anybody is a great thing to experience on my saturday afternoons, and then hitting a trail or the gym aftewrwards is a welcomed punishment for my body.

Well, i hope everyone is doing well, look forward to reading everyone elses blogs.

havent blogged in a while, been busy with work, been working out of course! diet has slipped a lot due to financial constraints. lets face it. healthy eating can be cheap but it isnt exactly filling.  Well, i met someone new.  we are starting very very slowly, but she hates exercise and diets easy, and i hate dieting and love working out. Match made in heaven right? well southern Ca anyway.  my lifts have gone up in all areas except benches since my chest is so weak.  well, just checking in, mindless dribble and all of that. everyone stay pumped and look forward to blogging and lifting and looking/feeling great!

Well today was shoulders. lots of pressing, raises, shrugs, and some calf work thrown in.  Its been hot as satans ass down here in los angeles for the past week, so i added some gatorade to my water intake.  I dont need to drop from dehydration or suddenyl cramp up you know?

So I am working on stuffed pepper recipe and i think i have a great one. 

Take 1lb of browned ground buffalo/turkey, or even lean ground pork

some spanish rice

1 chopped onion

some garlic

some black olives

and some non fat neufchatel cheese

and 2 chopped jalapenos

and mix it with a spoon.  It might look the best, but then fill emptied green bell peppers with the mixture and roast in the oven for about 20-30 minutes on 350.  its awesome.

For those looking to be a little healthier, omit the cheese, and add some chopped broccoli.  It will still taste great and is obviously good for you.
