just a laid back day…

today was a simple cardio day…tried to repeat the 45min of E2H but only got to 27min…my leggies were just feeling sooooo sluggish! so I jumped off and got on the treadmill and did 17min at a 13% incline…

got to have coffee with my girl LeighAnn and she and my other girl Desiree are officially gunning for another national level show! I’m soooo excited!!!

and I’m experiencing that most annoying of all weight loss moments…where you’re seeing abs, upper is coming in more and more, and the hips have gone down…by about 1/4"…yeah…great…that’s awesome…sooooo my upper is in a different shirt size and my lower is still in a 10…great…thanks estrogen and genetics! :p

I’m back!

didn’t forget about this…just got off track in posting…

   tonight I did back and went back to what I did three weeks ago which was just hitting three moves extra heavy…I am amazed at how much more I feel my back gets worked doing it this way…

v-grip pulldowns
v-grip cable rows
homemade t-bar rows

cardio one: 45min stepmill
cardio two: 35min incline treadmill

meal 1: 8 ew’s, 2% mozzy cheese
snack: 1tbsp almond butter (pre-wo)
meal 2: 4oz chicken, salad greens
meal 3: 4oz chicken, asp
meal 4: 4oz chicken, asp
meal 5: 6ew’s

leg night!

squats
SLDLs
leg ext
DB squats

the last one was a last minute sub for the lunges…I wanted something to hit the glutes a little more…and it did…hahahaha…

squats were not as heavy as I’d like but they were deeper and that’s what I’m working on right now…leg ext were just as I expected: heavy and made me limp off…and SLDLs…ok, it’s storytime…

sooo I’m doing SLDLs and before I even get the bar set there’s a set of three guys next to me doing them…only with totally rounded over backs and no weight…mmm good…so I think, hey, maybe when I do it properly next to them they’ll notice and take note…um, no…oh, and I lifted more
foods:

upped my cals slightly since it was leg day and I missed a meal yesterday…don’t want my body plateauing too quickly!

meal 1: 6ew’s, 1 slice 2% cheese
meal 2: 4oz lean beef, 1 slice 2% cheese
meal 3: protein shake (1 scoop of myofusion), 100cal pack of almonds (about .6oz)
meal 4: 5oz chicken
meal 5: 5oz chicken, grn beans

afternoon cardio: 45min arc trainer

Tris today:
unilateral cable pulldowns (reverse grip…there’s gotta be a more proper name than what I just typed! )
v-grip pressdowns
"neutral" DB press (flat bench)
EZ bar skull crushers

nighttime cardio: 20min escalator to hell, 20min arc trainer

and the foods:

meal 1: 6ew’s, 1 slice 2% cheese
meal 2: 1oz almond cheese, 4oz chk
meal 3: 4.5oz lean beef, grn beans
meal 4: 5oz chk
meal 5: 1 EB egg, 6ew’s

today’s work…

ok so no cardio tonight…I’m back on a keto diet and my body’s adjusting so I saved my energy for some really heavy work tonight…

lat pulldowns
wide grip cable rows
v-grip pulldowns
BB curls
DB hammers

even though it wasn’t as much as usual I can feel it in my back more than usual…I really tried to amp up the weight tonight…and I’ve been working on arching my back more…I’ve read so many competitors talk about the more they arch, the more the focus is on the upper…still keeping fully held up in the midsection of course…no mule swayback arches here

foods

meal 1: 6ews, 1 slice 2% cheese
meal 2: 5oz chk
meal 3: 3oz chk, 1oz almond cheese
meal 4: 5oz chk
meal 5: 6ews, 1 slice 2% cheese

well, here we go…

tomorrow is the dawn of a new day…and the dawn of a new challenge…I decided to take part in the Hydroxycut Hardcore Max Challenge…and my 8wks begins tomorrow! I’m excited to try something new, even though it’ll be similar to prepping for a show…this will be done by myself and not by a prep person so I am anxious and excited to see what I can do on my own…hope y’all join me for the fun! :)
