Well, I like to say that seeing a woman who train hard in the gym, sweat from such A hard work, and quite athletic with muscles and Abs are a real Turn On. The more athletic someone is, the younger she appear and that is so hot and sexy. Moreover, great girls and women with mature and stable personality who are warm, talkative, care and sensitive to others, and friendly are also a plus plus. To all the beautiful ladies that are make it in the gym, Keep UP the Good Work!!

It was cold and sort of chilly yesterday when I decided to go swimming. I felt so exhausted and sleepy. I didn’t feel like I want to go swimming at all but I eventually did it. I thought It would be only 500 - 550 meters. That’s not bad for someone who is tired and sleepy, right? The last time I swam, I did 1500 or 1700 meters. In fact, I did about 1000 meters lap swimming in total and it’s kind of surprise. That’s great enough for somebody who was sleepy and exhausted:)

So I went to picnic with friends in a lake in Maple Ridge yesterday and it was fun. I got to eat a lot of things such as meat, sausage, burger, and fruit salads. It’s really a lot which made us feel so full and caused us to have some leftover. We had canoeing on the afternoon. It was exciting. On the other hand, I found it to be a great form of exercise as well. So we got to paddle our canoos, 3 people on each canoes. Out of our expectation, the wind brought us and the waves to another side of the lake. I also felt sort of anxious and wondering if I went to a different direction as it was so hard to turn back. But I was trying so hard to turn into our desired direction with a lot of effort and energy that I had. I thought we were gonna be late and everyone else had returned and waited for us. In contrast, me and 2 girls ( my sister and her friend) arrived first. We were in the same boat. Then the other boats or canoes that our friends brought arrived about 30 and 40 minutes. My friends also commenting and complimenting about how fast my canoe was and how strong I was in pedalling it.
Well, I felt sort of sore and weary all over my body today after I woke up. However, it was like training or exercising outdoor beside doing it in the gym. It involved the muscles of the arms, back and shoulders or traps and lats. It may also involved the abs too. Not to mention how much calories and bodyfat I’d burn.

I dreamed I had an INTERVIEW WITH GOD.
“So, you would like to interview me?” GOD asked.
“If you have time,” I said.
GOD smile. “My time is eternity… what questions do you have in mind for me?”
“What surprises you the most about humankind?” I asked
GOD answered…
“That they get bored with childhood, that they rush to grow up, and then long to be children again.”
“That they lose their health to make money… and then lose their money to restore their health.”
“That by thinking anxiously about the future, they forget the present, such that they live in neither the present nor the future.”
“That they live as if they would never die, and die as though they had never lived.”
GOD’s hand took mine… and we were silent for a while. And then I asked, “As a parent, what are some of life’s lessons you want your children to learn?”
GOD replied,
“To learn they cannot make anyone love them. All they can do is let themselves be loved.”
“To learn that it is not good to compare themselves to others.”
“To learn to forgive by practicing forgiveness.”
“To learn that it only takes a few seconds to open profound wounds in those they love, and it can take many years to heal them.”
“To learn that a rich person is not one who has the most, but is one who needs the least.”
“To learn that there are people who love them dearly, but simply do not yet know how to express or show their feelings.”
“To learn that two people can look at the same thing, and see it differently.”
“To learn that it is not enough that they forgive one another, but they must also forgive themselves.”
“Thank you for your time,” I said humbly.
“Is there anything else you would like your children to know?”
GOD smiled, and said… “Just know that I am here (24/7).Always.”

When you are tired and discouraged from fruitless efforts…
God knows how hard you have tried.
When you’ve cried so long and your heart is in anguish…
God has counted your tears.
If you feel that your life is on hold and time has passed you by…
God is waiting with you.
When you’re lonely and friends are too busy for a phone call…
God is by your side.
When you think you’ve tried everything and don’t know where to turn…
God has a solution.
When nothing makes sense and you are confused or frustrated…
God has the answer.
If suddenly your outlook is brighter and you find traces of hope…
God has whispered to you.
When things are going well and you have much to be thankful for…
God has blessed you.
When something joyful happens and you are filled with awe…
God has smiled upon you.
When you have a purpose to fulfill and a dream to follow…
God has opened your eyes and called you by name.
Remember that wherever you are or whatever you are facing…
GOD KNOWS.

I was in a hurry heading to the gym yesterday. I only trained for 30 minutes because I had something to do with friends afterward. I did chest and abs along with pull-ups yesterday afternoon. I normally spend 1.5 - 2 hours in the gym to work out with weights. But since I did not have that much time yesterday, so I made the most out of my time. Here is what I did:
- Bench Press (4 sets)
- Incline Bench Press (4 sets)
- Standing Cable Chest-Fly (3 sets)
- Hanging Leg Raise (3 sets) and Crunch (1 set) for abs
- Pull-ups and Chin-Ups (2 or 3 sets)
In the afternoon after doing something with my friends in an apartment we took the elevator to go down and leave. I got a comment from my female friend about my bulging biceps and muscles while we were in the elevator. She commented and said "wow, look at his (Guntur’s) arm" to other friends. She said it by looking at my arm (esp. biceps) with sort of funny and fake fear expression. She told me several times not to enlarge my muscles and body anymore. Maybe it’s kind of intimidating to them. Well, it’s usually my family and parents who give me that kind of comment. Another girl/ my friend said that my current size is good enough.
Anyway, I did my cardio after waking up, checking emails, and surfing internet a bit today. I run and walked in the treadmill for 30 minutes. It was exhausting but it was great.

Well, as the title said, it was tiring to swim that much but I did 2000 meters lap swimming today. Those are what I did:
- Breaststroke: 550 meters
- Freestyle: 700 meters
- Butterfly: 250 meters
- Backstyle: 500 meters
- Total distance: 2000 meters
However, butterfly remains to be the hardest style or form to be performed at swimming. well, for me it is. Swimming is always a good exercise and training as it involves the whole body from neck and shoulder to the foot.

I trained for 1.5 hours today in the gym. I worked on my chest, arms, legs, and abs. I did not go extreme or too heavy because I was just been sick and need to slow down a bit. There was a black girl training in the gym too. I have known and talked to her several times already as we’ve seen each other in the gym couple times. She is only about 5′1" tall but she is strong, buff, and athletic. She was originally from Africa but I don’t remember which country. According to what my friend said several months ago, she is 39 years old with 2 or 3 children. According to her, her heaviest squat was 225 lbs barbell for 9 reps. Her bench press was only 125 lbs before but it’s very good for her size. One of her abs training was hanging from a pull-up bar upside down and doing abs training and crunch on it. She is currently training for her powerlifting competition in this upcoming August. My voice was so soft and not loud enough when I tried to approach and talked to her on the beginning. Another things about her is that she works in the airport. It’s nice to see a strong girl working out in my gym.

I went in a tour to Rocky Mountains for 4 days and 3 nights. I arrived back in Vancouver last Tuesday this week. It was fun and I had a really good time enjoying the beautiful and magnificent nature. The lakes, the rivers, the mountains, the trees and plants, the animals, and the different places and stores were fascinating. There were awesome view, great people, and some nice foods. Therefore, it was really worth it. By the way, I was sick yesterday. My parents said it may because I worked out hard in the gym after being absent from training for several days due to the tour in Rocky mountains. Thus I got too tired. The doctor said that I had a stomach flu. I could not eat well and my energy level was very low. But I feel much better today. Unfortunately, the size of the photos from the Rocky mountains tours was too large to be uploaded here.

I went to swim today. I haven’t been swimming for months or quite long time. These are what I did today in swimming:
- 425 m Breaststroke
- 625 m Freestyle
- 225 m butterfly and
- 425 m Backstyle
I did those for an hour totally. So by adding those numbers together, I swam for a total of 1700 meters in the swimming pool today. It was in Canada Games, New Westminster, BC. Beside working out in the gym, I also swim a lot but I rarely count how many meters, distances, or laps I have made when I swim. However, I’m not a competitive athlete or swimmer like Michael Phelps or Ian Thorpe but I wouldn’t mind at all if I get a chance to be those kind of athlete. That would be cool and nice. I swim mostly for fitness purposes.
