Functional workout & Pilates Today
I decided to add in functional training today….I went to a nice grassy area and took a jump rope and resistance band with me… I just came up with it when I got there…I wasn’t in the mood to run the stairs and this was a great change of pace for me…. so I warmed up with a 5 minute jog and then I jumped roped for 5 minutes followed by 1 minute of jump squats, 1 minute sit ups, 1 minute pushups, 1 minute lunges, 1 minute jump squats on to a bench…. after this sequence I went back to the jumprope for 5 minutes… I repeated this sequence for about 40 minutes … with a couple rests in between because I was really OUT OF BREATH !!! Then, I came home and had a protein shake….and poped in a windsor pilates tape ( yes ~ tape it’s freakin old )and worked on my core….it’s a good day so far ! xoxo Gina
