Abuse will come.  But for real.  5 of the top 6 women are cheescake.  No beef.  Thank God for ChickenTuna though; you can see her muscle.  All else is just well placed fat/silicone/saline either by the eater or the MD or God for that matter.  If I want to see this type of cheesecake I would have enlisted for Viet Nam, Korea or WWII and got some cheap ones at the Ben Franklin 5 and 10.  So again, where’s the beef?  Show that and tell me how you did it otherwise save the panty raid pictures for the private home album!

The Range

After punching out about 100 rounds with each of the guns they are now well worn, sore , swollen and achy.  As I expected though that one week off was quite the benefit.  I went up a weight in all the exercises save one on the triceps.  But, balls to the wall or what.  I had to make and check myself as far as technique.  You know how when it comes to crunch time on the last two sets some people become contortionists and look like they are having an out of body experience to get the last reps up?  Well, not me.  I just breath and watch the bicep slowly go the opposite direction from up, even though I am telling it up.  LOL But, for the hour of exertion-it was worth it.

Christmas Punch

This is not the drink.  No and no juice from steroids.  It is time to attack Christmas and New Years the way it attempts to attack the midline.  So, after my hiatus it is back to the gym.  Today is arm day, gun day, Ruger, Smith and Wesson day and it will be good.  I get such an emotional high just from doing the workout.  Yes, it is grueling for an hour.  Yes it is tiring for an hour but the charge i GET FROM IT LASTS UNTIL THE NEXT WORKOUT.  Opps, caps lock but I am too lazy to redo it!  I have been blessed with the equipment I have but will lean towards hitting the cardio harder in prep for spring.  Who knows.  Once I get rid of another 5-7% bodyfat Adonis may be living there.

Post Up

Taking a term from basketball I am reframing my self imposed 1 week lifting moratorium.  I am posting-up.  Getting ready for the move to the baseline or the power slam over the top and in the face.  So, for a week I am forcing myself not to go to the gym even though I want to.  Why?  A little R and R for the ligements, tendons and cartilage not too mention glucos/condr supplements.  I understand that they do grow slower so I am allowing them to play catch-up.  No pain or soreness to speak of at all.  It seemed like the thing to do you know, like an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.  I will still do the cardio.  No sense in being a complete weenie about things.

Weight is climbing

5 lbs in one week with the re-addition of the creatine and novodex.  I will only do a month course of the novodex though not 8 weeks.  Leg day was not fun as usual but I added straight leg dead lifts at lower weight and higher reps.  The last time-even with perfect technique- 310 lbs left an incredible amount of pressure on my lower spine.  I knew I did not want to blow a disc.  So I stopped and restarted lower and more reps.  Felt much better and the soreness factor is still there.  So I officially hit the 220 mark well, actually 221.  So 9 lbs to reach my 230 goal…but it has to be with the same BF content.  I guess I could gorge on bear claws, Ho Hos and ding dongs but I am sure the lifting stats would not dramatically increase.

I was laughing at Katnap’s blog this AM because as she said, as the weather gets colder you expect to see more clothes on people instead of less.  Well, I told her not only did I add a T-shirt to my latest photo but a hat as well.  Anyway.  Happy lifting y’all!

Day 3

Well, this is day 3 of the Novodex from Gaspari.  I opted to try it and see if my own testosterone is enough to push my limits.  I like the idea and I am tempted to use steroids BUT as a nurse I have seen first hand the horrible side effects creates.  Vanity is not THAT important.  Otherwise I just lift and take supplements and be patient.  I really would not be me if I used "juice."  It would be living the dream of Dupont-"Better living through chemistry."  Nothing in organic or tailor made drugs have ever helped anyone in the long run.  So, pressing on and today is leg day.  Yuk but oh well.  I read that since leg work gets the natural HGH working there is nothing as good as walking out of the gym staggering like a whore on Sunday morning.  Happy lifting.

Mindtrap…

Sunday morning and loading plates before the "sand" is out of my eyes I thought I ws loading the right plates.  Well it was 20 lbs heavier than I was "supposed" to do and it felt a little harder but I figured it was Sunday morning so I just pushed harder.  Of course it wasn’t until after I was done that I realized I did myself 20 lbs better.  Which led to the standard revelation that what you think you do, you do.  Sometimes if you don’t know any better you can excel.  Of the course the feeling in the PECS is similar to under muscle breast augmentation today but, it will only get worse for the next 2 days then lay off.Have there been any studies or is it bodybuilding common sense that muscles are repairing when sore so protein intake should be at a premium?  I know about within the first 1 hour of lifting but what about during the "soreness phase.?"  Guess it does not matter since there is some sore part of me all the time!!!
