(Read the following with a German accent-kinda of like Arnold’s)Wilhelm here, from East Germany. I have made great progress in the mental realm just doing the lifting even when I would rather not. Physically it is a slow tedious process but I will continue none the less. I will take some of my tax return and join a gym. I NEED a pull down bar for lat work and a chin-up bar. Just NEED it otherwise the sides will always look so so. Thanks to Jeff and Toni for the kind words and encouragement as well as ideas to continually improve. I am really beginning to believe that last 2 reps of the last 2 sets are what set apart growth from "nothing new." So its blood shooting out of the eyes time this afternoon for benching!

Anyone got any ideas what to do to get big bulk for legs when you cannot go to the gym or you are on the second floor of the house and the bar is just too heavy for the floor? I do the lighter weights at slow reps 2 up 2 hold and 5 down. I get definition but mot much bulk. I cannot afford a gym right now so any advice would help.
Well the NO-xplode did pump my arms up but I worked them like a maniac too-perceptual set I wonder. I have started the old East German training too-visualizing and imaging my body as a slim, trim 235 pound monster. I will let you know how that works.
Plus I got some absolute killer photos of my virtual GF-Zuzana Korinkova-AAHHHHH!!! Killer assets!

Well, I tried the NO-xplode. No revelation there. Did not feel anymore or less pumped. No immediate side effects. I didn’t seem to be anymore prone to stroke or aneurysm. So…I will take the whole bottle over the next 30 workouts and see if it helps. In the short term though I will not be holding my breath. I did notice one thing after the workout though-I didn’t walk like a drunken sailor. Today its arms. I do a quad split related to my old age. 4 sets of exercises 4x a week. Slow and steady wins the race. I should be able to tell/show the results by 2009!

Have you ever read, I mean really read, the labels on some of the products we take. I mean take the NO-xplode for example. "For people 18-50." If it works as well as they say am I making myself more suseptible to a stroke-say more than maxing to failure? Kind of scary but what is life if it isn’t a challenge. Today will be my first dose. I have been lifting for over a year now. Is it a magic formula or Pandora’s box? I guess it will depend on my genetics. Fortunately no strokes in my family although one aunt died from a ruptured brain aneurysm. Dr. Jensen, one of the country’s leading interventional neuroradiologists informs me that it is not hereditary if only one non-straight line descent had it; aunt instead of i.e. grandmother, mother, daughter. So begins the great next phase. Wish me luck. Any of you ever had a "bad" experience with NO-xplode?

This is a statement as well as thankfulness. I added a new person to my friends list. Yet another muse to stimulate my heart, mind and soul in the realm of lifting. Friends in this forum are very important. Supportive, kindly critical and full of information. They feel the mind with helpful information, the body with tips on lifting and the soul with their chiseled bodies and uplifting spirits. I look at their pictures frquently and find inspiration to continue to work on myself knowing that becoming a hunk will not be overnight. Like I have read ans said before 3 years sounds like the time when you really notice the progress you have made. My biceps and triceps though are maintaining their fullness and I cannot reach my back to shower as easily as I did before. It is with metta (loving kindness) that I thank all my friends here on bodybuilding.com especially jackedin mi, tonigal69, ivy78, giuliagoolia and buttandlegs.

Well, I am waiting for my supplements to arrive. I want to powerup and see if the hype about NO-xplode is true. I guess I will wait for the delivery. I tried one of those energy drinks before I lifted the other day and it did not seem to do anything. Oh, well, not everyone wants to build their bodies.
I just finished the back and shoulders. I really hate it but I do it anyway. Well time to watch the came and carve a turkey.
Hester just ran the kickoff for a TD and now Harris just intercepted a pass…It don’t get better than that!

What have I accomplished? I have gained weight. I just cut weight too to see what would happen. I dropped to 212 which means the people were right when I initially joined. The comment is that I would gain about 10 lbs of muscle per year until I genetically plateaued. I have a way to go yet. I think the NO-Explode will be good as I lift after work and I am not particularly energized. However, waking up at 0430 and clanking plates is not an option with a house full of people. I do have to work harder on my diet though, down the fat and increase the protein. Anyone reading this is more than welcome to send me ideas for cheap protein sources and lots of it. It seems that eating even 200 gms of protein is alot but I just have to remember to eat every 2.5 hours. Between treating patients that is not too easy of a task. But like my wrestling coach used to say, "It only takes a nickel more to go 1st Class."

Well I am one uping my skills in nutrition. I will start taking the NO-Explode to see if this stuff is hype or does it really work. Protein and supplements-Are they really necessary? I have not really noticed any gross massive changes after a year but I will continue to lift as it is good for me. I feel down sometimes like I am lifting in a vacuum without personal support from friends and family. This forum has been the only respite in a sea of fat. Fortunately I am not drowning in it. But sometimes just to tridge forward is a workout in itself. Today is an off day but eating is always part of training. So…live, lift, eat, drink and say your prayers!
