Thursday June 26th,
Well, this is the last week of my 8 week routine. I quit the full body workout and went back to a 3 day split because the full body routine just wasn’t doing it for me. I also quit trying to cut or bulk and just started eating better. Went ahead and trimmed up the body hair(got tired of looking like a human chia pet)…wow didn’t realize how itchy it would be. Oh well, I think it looks better, I guess I will let everyone else decide that. New pics will be posted this weekend. It’s funny how you feel like you want more progress to show before you actually post new pics, but that’s ok. As long as I am moving forward(taking off the beltline and adding more definition and muscle) then it’s ok. I’m in it for the long haul….
It should be interesting to see if there is any difference, I know my pants are fitting looser now and I think I see more definition through my chest and shoulders…..

Well, it’s the first week of May and I have started a full body workout last week. I have also changed my training volume to a lower weight but reps of 15 to 20. I will take new pics at the end of June which will be the last of this 8 week routine. Then I’ll decide if I want to stick with a full body routine or go back to a split. I have also started taking in more protein and calories so hopefully I can see an improvement in muscle gain.

Today is April 10th and I was going to take pictures and post them but after taking measurements I’m not sure it’s worth it. I dropped 2 inches off my waist and lost 4 lbs. which is a good thing. So basically my picture would look the same so I think I’ll wait until after my next 8 week routine for building mass and take one then. All of my other measurements stayed the same so I am hoping after this next routine(plus I will adjust my diet to take in more calories) I will look better. The diet part is the hardest part of this whole thing. It’s hard to believe that I’ve been working out for 9 weeks, getting stronger because the weight has increased on most of my lifts, but yet nothing is bigger. Damn diet!!!
Oh well, I feel like it’s part of the learning process and I won’t give up.

Well, this will be my first entry. It’s been 9 weeks and I haven’t missed a workout yet. Today I feel horrible, very little sleep last night. Hopefully when I get to the gym I will be more motivated. New progress pics in 3 weeks and I can tell the belly fat is coming off because my pants are falling off right now.
I hope the new pics reflect the inches lost and some muscle mass gained.
