Shoulders, Abs and Legs

Day 18 (Thur) Focused mainly on shoulders and legs. In between sets I did some Ab work instead of total 1-2min rest period. No HIIT today.

Day 16 (Tuesday) was a P90X Core Synergistics day followed by Ab work an 20 min Slow Cardio. 2 miles at 12 min miles.

Plyometrics…let’s jump!

Day 12…P90X Plyometrics or better know as jump training. Great leg workout. I added a little more balance work with stability disc. Helps to use the core and stabilizer muscles that don’t usually get hit too hard. NO HIIT..NO WAY!

Stretching Feels GOOD!

Day 11…P90X X-Stretch is kind of an off day. Trying to make sure I stay limber while adding muscle. Stretching…that’s it!

Core Synergistics

Day 10 P90X Core Synergistics. Good old fashion core work. Not only does it work the core muscles but it is fairly fast paced so there is a pretty good cardio element as well. Followed it up with 10 minutes of HIIT cardio just to finish things off.

Chest & Back

April 26, 2009

Day 9 of the 8 week challenge. Decided to use P90x straight up for then next 2 weeks. Today is Chest & Back followed up with 15 minutes of HIIT cardio on the elliptical machine.

Lots of push-ups, limited pull-ups due to elbow. Used the bowflex for lat pull-downs.
