Post Turkey Day Action

Friday, we woke up with the best of intentions.  okay, that’s not really true.
R wanted to go for pancakes… we decided we weren’t that hungry and to go for a run instead (whew!) but compromised with a short jog around the neighbourhood with the dog.  I stayed in and did some abwork at my friend’s house in the afternoon.  The Exercise On Demand should really tell you in the Info what equipment is required, cos if you don’t have dumbbells, ball, tubes or medicine ball at home, some of the workouts will not be nearly as good, but some you dont need equipment at all!

Saturday got out to Newport gym around 830.  25 minutes of stretching / abs to prep.
60 min Cardio - ArcTrainer hill intervals at level 9 for 500+ calories
30+ min Weights - Prone Leg curl (3 sets 20x @50, one set 20x @60)
Hip Abductor / Adductor (3-4 set 20x increasing levels 6-8)
Ball Planks w single leg lifts
30 min Treadmill, running 1.5 mi combined, increasing speed and incline intervals, ~2.75 total distance

Hit the showers, steam room, and tan… out around noon.
What a great way to spend a Saturday morning!

Next week I may do something similar, but working in the Gauntlet (Climber)
and /or start in the pool, hit the bike and the treadmill for more triathalon-style training!  :D
