I better get this conversion……….

Oh dear god what am I doing!? I am running around like nuts. Pulled a 16 hour day wednesday doing my training for my potential job conversion and working my shift. Went straight from work to the range was there for about four hours (20 hours up at this point) went home and slept a couple hours. Was up again around 5pm couldnt go back to sleep so I did some cleaning around the house hit the gym and was at work at 11pm. Got off shift at about 6 am and went to the gym at work. Showered and was at legal around 9 am. Didnt leave till 4pm and was knocked out as soon as I was out of my skirt and had started a load of wash. Woke up at almost 9 pm. Is it just me or am I not getting enough sleep? I feel totally refreshed but I’m wondering if maybe its just cause I’m so loaded with stuff to do I havent really taken a break.

I know how you feel! I’m lucky to get 3-4 hours of sleep a night sometimes going 2-3 days with out sleep at all.

Yeah see thats the screwy thing I think after being in the desert you develop the skills to function on full speed for a couple of days at a time with out sleep. Like the adrenaline will never stop.

I seen part of Fight Club when Edward Norton charater says: " Insomina is like you are not asleep and no awake."

at the beging on the movie when he was talking about his insomina problem kinda like similar to me.

I’m in the same boat as you. My schedule only allows me about 4-5 hours of sleep regularly. It really isn’t enough; so, all you can really do is be very aggressive with nutrition and supplementation.

Wow!! Still going on so little sleep? I get so rattie and hate it!! Gym suffers, as work HAS to come first. Working shifts never fits in with the gym, and family life!! and you have to prioratise and that then pits gym third, with family and work above it!! But the de-stress and feel good of the gym is addictive!! It just goes round and round!
Mind you I am older, and it catches up that much easier! Hate getting old!!!!
    At least your still smiling.

Wait a minute… did you say you went to the "range"….. aren’t you NAVY??? Do they have ranges? Thought they just had swimming pools and boats? :P
